Creative today...
Drew with the Berol handwriting pen again, last night. Sprayed it with the water mister, and it didn't move. Then I realised I had used the soapy water mister spray. I very nearly got some plain water to spray, but I literally sat on my hands and didn't do anything to it.
By this morning, it had spread like this.
Beautiful!
I love it.
My intention had been to do a colourful autumn scene, but I like it too much like this.
A misty winter's morning...

Thank you for blessing me with your creativity. Definitely a misty winter's morning - transported me here (which is, oddly a very good place, for me anyhow)

Some due diligence ( I hope) before my holiday and maybe on my return
https://gov.wales/sites/default/fil...as-and-steam-rooms-and-risk-from-covid-19.pdf
And
https://professionalbeauty.co.uk/site/newsdetails/saunas--steam-rooms-in-england-reopen

My take on this is the bigger risk factor is the reckless attitude engendered by the charlatan in No 10 not the environment per se. I take on board the distinction between steam room and sauna from the Welsh Govt document. You guys, Wales, (and Scotland) have been better led than Ingerland absolutely no doubt in my mind. I would feel safe in a Spa/gym run by @Krystyna23040. Local council Leisure Centres and English privately run ones scare me pooless.

Fabulous. It reminds me of things growing in the sea.

I. I've emailed my dietary needs to the hotel as usual, along with my glowing Trip Advisor review from 2 years ago which they lurved.
My initial email and their reply. I simply do not feel a UK resort/company would provide that level of service either before COVID or currently - your mileage may vary. I feel it is morally right to praise those who go "above and beyond." AFAIC, never mind the world leading gaslighting rowlocks trotted out by matey and his courtiers, that is proper WC. Just my onions, obviously.

Creative this morning.
Did the first part last night as usual.
Drew the trees with the Berol pen.
Sprayed with water, and soapy water.
The ink didn't spread, then suddenly it did, and I am trying to deal with the water runs.
Then I left it and went to sleep.
This morning I looked at it. I liked it as it was with no colour, but my intention had been to have one of those weak watery looking, but yet blinding sun in the middle.
So, I put the teeniest bit of yellow there.
It didn't look too bad.
Photographed it.
OMG, it was like a bright yellow cornfield in the sky...
White gouache paint next to get rid of this excessive yellow.
I think I need to research colour for a misty morning...
I think Naples yellow might do it.
I have some some somewhere....

Good morning everyone on a wonderfully quiet beginning here in the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of toad in the FibreFlour hole with lashings of onion gravy and a side parting of peas in our time came in at 5.4 this am.

Solicitors yesterday - only £5 to get in and then a tenner to get out. Legal documents to be signed and witnessed for the sale of our house and the purchase of another one. Looks like we will move on 19th, all being well. Just when is the optimum opportunity to pack goods and chattels that you may need only an hour later? You know, that reliable spatula or your favourite wine glass or perhaps that pair of wellies that you didn’t realise you now needed. If only organising mail forwarding with Royal Mail was as reliable as buying a new mobile phone and transferring data. We will see.
Art bit - some hills and a planet saving planting of trees. Chesney Hawkes for PM - he is the one and only but lets skip such important matters and make sure that we are all tucked up in bed just after 10pm to ensure better heart health. Koffy time - it’s a moveable feast.

Greetings to each and everyone one of you. I do so hope cheering Team D on is still within the Ts and Cs of the small print. Reckless abandon not to Swipe left, right, up or down? The D ain't always the biggest, baddest monster in the woods folks. According to @dunelm's reading staying up past 10,00 am is a no no. I'm actually very, very cool with that. Thanks for the art fella and best wishes for the move. Hope you settle better than I, wouldn't wish this even on you know who. Oh, give it a couple of years to find anything really, really useful and urgently needed:banghead:.
@gennepher your creative today is eerily like the thicket in me noggin. Emergency childcare rescheduling necessitated a trip into local supermarket - the one which is neither German discounter cheap, W quality (yes, I can tell the difference but not as you would like) or boasts that every little helps. Scared the manure outta me. No one way system, precious few masks or social distancing, people hawking and coughing left right and centre. Infection rate in this town? 769 per 100k - one wonders how. Yet early Saturday I shall be sitting in a tin can with 100s of strangers feeling less apprehensive than that experience. Why? My thought processes say one needs to have followed rules and had checks before getting on and staying on said tin can; people have paid thousands to travel and stay where we are going. I'm no snob/elitist but the value of the hound in the fight usually matters muchly.
The stays? It appears at least hereabouts the great unwashed have decided to stick them up their doodas. How does collecting my grandchildren from school or nursery turn out to be more scary than being confined in a tin can with strangers and living in a hotel usually full of German's. Russians and similarly aged Brits? The My answer is Boris, of course it is. It is as though I dreamed COVID happened and the barstewards didn't tell me. Apparently, buy enough dubious quality food and booze and COVID stays away - who knew?Anyhow, me and our next King allegedly both lurve Marmite and tomato sandwiches (on sourdough rye bread) and these/this song. The stays? How very droll.

4.9 this morning.

When I had a break from classes in Norwich I used to walk across to a lovely pub across the road and sit and relax on a sofa with a coffee. Then Covid arrived and new people took it over and it very quickly became truly awful. Hygiene rating went from 5* to 1* very quickly.

It has been closed for 2 weeks and curiosity got the better of me so I walked over to investigate what was going on. I got a guided tour of the renovated pub. I was so happy as it looks like it will be a lovely place to go and drink coffee and relax in again.

Wonderful tree line @dunelm
Amazing mountains (created by soapy water I am assuming).

They do say (don't ask me who they are...I haven't a clue) that every hour in bed before midnight is worth 2 hours in bed. So, if I went to bed at 8pm, then by midnight I've had my requisite 8 hours sleep...

Hi @ianpspurs
Thanks for the foggy painting compliment :)
And thanks for the words of the song. I appreciate that.
When I cross the border to England to meet my friend, no one wears masks nor do they observe any social distancing etc In a queue someone bunches right up to your backside...and I do have an urge to do something with my walking stick/crutch...especially with the amount of times I got coughed directly in the face by a stranger...
But when I return to Wales, the majority are wearing masks, and the distancing in queues is usually pretty good. No outright coughing takes place...

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and all who no longer ponder the meaning of life, but just get on with it.

A straight 7 this morning on that meter……

Yesterday me and me’s attempted a little woodworking on something for my youngest grandson, but when you forget to tighten the pivot screw things can go wrong……big time.

Can't for the life of me think why that didn't appeal when you pitched it as sympathy card wording to Clinton Cards. Total mystery. I'm also hoping the pilots to Cyprus and back have a superior plan to let's JFDI and see where we all end up. YMMV, obviously. Today's sermon will be based on the parable of the loose pivot screw - very niche.:angelic:

Thank you @gennepher and yes, mountains created by soapy water. I now need to figure out what I shall do with all that extra time if I take to my bed at 8pm.

Just want to wish @dogslife all the best for her tests tomorrow. Thoughts and prayers with you.
Good morning@ianpspurs. Thank you so much for thinking of me. I was unable to respond earlier as I haven't been able to log in for several days due to a server error. ( Very frustrating!). So glad to be back in touch with everyone. My test went according to plan and I'm happy to report no cancer was found. It has not found the source of my pain and other symptoms but at least it is one hurdle over. I'm not sure what happens next until I hear from either the specialist who requested my test or my GP. Despite not eating anything at all for over 24 hours pre -test my blood sugars were 11.11. Maybe the 2 litres of moviprep :arghh: that I had to swallow the evening before contained something? I have to say the hospital staff were very helpful and organised and I was given feedback from the doctor who performed the test immediately afterwards. Best wishes to all. I can now catch up on everyone's posts from the last few days. Yeh!:)
