What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen,
6.7 this morning.
Must dash another day another hospital this time the the east of the county, yesterday was the west of the county.
Enjoy your day and be safe.
Hugs for your all your journeys @alf_Josiah
May they be good ones in every way x

Good morning everyone from a contrails in the sky start here in the dark and dangerous north.
The wonder wheel of yet another two egg omelette came in at 5.1 this am

A good catch up with relatives yesterday and chauffeured there and back was a treat. Last three Christmas gifts for grandchildren sorted out, they should arrive today or tomorrow. Just got to sort out something special for Mrs Miggins, I fancy an iron cleaning kit. Wonder if I can get one to match the ironing board cover that I got her last year? Purchased a suede brush yesterday as was tasked to give her Ugg boots a clean while she was away. So that’s this mornings entertainment organised and then there will be another couple of boxes to delve into. Got a card from one of our neighbours, that’s nice. Mind you it was from the cheap side of the road - we have prime numbers on our side. How can you have a house number like 36 - so many combinations.
Art equipment still boxed up as is my folding art table - will just have to leave them be until after Christmas I think. So, more ink and water sketches - and anther tree. Hope that everyone has a terrific Tuesday. Time for more koffy here.

I love these ink and water trees @dunelm
And am quite happy to see them continue through to the new year.

5.2 this morning. Wrote lots of Christmas cards yesterday and did lots of admin. Today I wot doing a 1:1 this morning and will hopefully finish writing the cards and lots more admin.
@gennepher my cards definitely won't be treasured like your lovely handmade cards.

Good morning everyone from the quiet beauty that is the dark and dangerous north
The wonder wheel of hearts of palm (I know!) turned into something resembling crab cakes came in at 5.3 this am.

Christmas gift for Mrs Miggins now wrapped and hidden away now that I found the wrapping paper yesterday. Pretty sure that she will like this fully loaded electric iron cleaning kit and combination flex conditioner. I opened the first of my advent shingle tot’s yesterday (I only have 11) , an Elijah Craig Kentucky Straight Bourbon - very pleasant, I may buy a bottle. Still not come across my Christmas jumper - I find that they are too hot but it’s what people do nowadays - I blame the textile industry for conning everyone into believing that, like those Lindt Easter Bunnies, everyone will have a miserable time if they don’t have one. Shopping this morning. I think that I will go up to Lidl and have a smooch round. I will of course write out a list but you never know what they will be flogging on the isle of mystery and confusion. I might even find some exotic tool set or some strangely shaped and garishly decorated tin for Mrs Miggins.
More trees Vicar? Don’t mind if I do - with a few mountains. Have a wonderful pre-bin day, just join in if yours is different. Time for some koffy.

Fbg 6.7

The hell of the Xmas lights continues.
Last night he added some white strobe stuff.
This breached my natural light defences.
My windows are about 4 metres away from his flashing lights.
No sleep last night.
He won the battle of the length of time of the flashing lights being on with the neighbours. His lights went off at 01:27 am

I fired off an email at a friend on my emotions on this. It is a wonder that emails do not get censored.
You are getting a very tame version of my emotions and feelings.

I was googling in the early hours on what people do about their objectionable Xmas lights neighbours. Especially people who have a medical reason. I have my visual migraines, other people have epilepsy. And their Xmas lights neighbours are not considerate with their flashing lights even then, saying they are entitled to celebrate Xmas in any way they want, and the epileptic prone person shouldn't be out when the Xmas lights are on, and that they should blackout their own property. There was a pile more stuff, including people who moved into a small village in the countryside for their idyllic retirement away from the city, only to find they had the flashing Xmas lights neighbour from over the road, and when they asked it to be toned down, or not on all night, they then got 365 days a year of the flashing Xmas lights. There were even solicitors saying they would take on you case, as 'light trespass'...really?

I do have some telescopic tree loppers which extend to 4 metres. And my intention is to cut down some more oak tree branches (for screening) when I come back from coffee with my friend...

The other thing intend to do, is on my way back home is to call in a shop which will carry my larger intended purchases back to my car.

I am afraid there is no painting creative this morning. Not in the mood. But I did cut the double paintings in half. So that is all you get on that. The real creativeness comes later when I get back, and I won't be photographing that to post...

I just had a shower, and the water was backing up a bit from the shower drain so I assumed it was the soap. But it took a few moments to get down. Then I flushed the toilet (only a wee), and the water filled up the bowl to the very top before slowly going down. That Mr Insensitive Ignoramus Imbecile Idiot next door, has only gone and blocked the shared drains again. I disinfected my feet...

I only called the water board out for the second time recently a few weeks ago when he blocked it yet again.

Wonderful painting. You are very creative with this @dunelm giving me creative ideas...

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen and sympathy to @gennepher for having to live next to what could be read as Beachyhead light house.
A 6.2 on that meter of mistrust
Here in Tilehurst Towers me and me’s have a hopefully medically free day, plinky plonky and rest up.
Have a great day

@gennepher as I read your post I had a sudden thought that these telescopic tree loppers might be Ideal for***************** I am sure that thought has probably crossed your mind also.

5.5 this morning. Coffee drunk, dog walking done and Yeo Valley milk and Greek yogurt bought from.Morrison's.

Christmas cards almost done yesterday and lots of admin. Hopefully I will get lots more done today.

New Swipey offered up a 6.2. On its own totally unacceptable and as part of a 4 month trend very concerning. I have always been uneasy over my Faustian pact with LC. All it offered was a reasonable bg control. My June A1c of 5.4 was meh but acceptable since there were no red flags on my full bloods. This run of readings suggests we - LC and I - may be done and pills or jabs are needed. MRI shows surgery is required maybe even metalwork. At least that has a history of success. @gennepher what can anyone say that will not sound like an empty platitude? @dunelm thanks for the art, good find on the Elijah Craig was it the small batch? Enjoy Lidl. @Krystyna23040 how long did the "holiday" last? @alf_Josiah take it easy today - can you play other Eagles songs? The revolution will eat itself? I always thought that was overdone but maybe not. We have an unbelievably cute granddaughter with her chocolate coins treasure to guard and a 91.99 yo Great Gran to deliver for an eyesight check at horsepittal. Y'all do whatever it takes.

@Krystyna23040 how long did the "holiday" last?
@ianpspurs holiday not started yet, but really good that I can catch up with this really important stuff. It will be a really lovely feeling once I am completely up to date.

I was really pleased to get a phone call from our Professional Body that I course on knee issues now has a vacancy and I am now booked on it for this Saturday. I felt a little bit bad at feeling so happy there was a cancellation when I was told that the teacher cancelling her place had cancelled because she her father had just died.

This week is turning out to be a really busy week.
