Hi

recently found out that I could have potential B12 deficiency, doctor suggested to take B12 deficiency due to symptoms like tingling in fingers and palm.
Are there anybody in same boat.

thanks
Kumar

One question, Are you on metformin? It’s a side effect that can occur, needing supplements.
I had regular b12 and folate tests and was found to be lacking so took supplements to help.

Yes. I had a burning mouth, tongue and lips. I asked my GP to test my Vit B12 levels and they were a little low. He gave me an injection to bring them back up again.

I’m on Metformin and have asked for b12 tests a couple of times, never been offered them, but like @ianf0ster I take a vit B complex supplement every day

Thanks so much @Rachox all good here :) this was my new year resolution as i've started getting some potential symptoms so no harm done by topping up.

Happy New Year, JJ. I hope you and yours are well and happy.

I supplemented for a while when my levels dipped a bit. I took these. They did the trick: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01787EPEE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

(I had issues when my thyroid was well off-kilter, so titrating and tweaking meds for that likely helped matters too.)
