Krystyna Look where I have posted this reply directly above Quote and your name is a line of letters what look like chain links groups of lines then the emoji face, click on the face they all appear. But if like me I don’t always scroll down to the reply section to reply you can’t see the that line of digits so you won’t see the BIU etc. followed by chain lines emoji’s, people don’t always understand all the technical words they use it’s this that I never understood. When alf_josiah said use the function bar I hadn’t a clue what the heck a function bar was but when you understand what others take for granted it’s easy, I never had lessons to learn many things on my iPad but it’s lovely when someone takes the time to explain things. Hence the Thank You to him, I’m passed being embarrassed by asking for help if I don’t understand it’s more enlightening to know what people are trying to do in helping me to understand, I’m of an age that never even considered this technology would be their for everyone some people don’t want to use it preferring to stay with what they are comfortable with but I love to learn new things I didn’t want to be left behind in this new world that was emerging and now my grandchildren just take it has the Norm how wonderful is that. So if I don’t understand what someone is trying to explain to me I will gladly be the Numpty until I realise what they are trying to tell me.I am afraid I have to join you as Numpty no.2.

Smashing kaleidoscope and I saw a circle of orange frogs - and then pulled up sharp at the top - Popeye. Sounds like your neighbour may be putting in some astroturf and is laying a foundation. Mind you, if I was having it done, I would use grano dust as a foundation - or - he could be building an underground bunker. Hope Shadow makes an appearance this morning.Fbg...experimenting with food, so not taking readings at the moment.
Creative...another kaleidoscope using Laboscope app (pointed at my wardrobe...) and fartnarkled in Procreate and Snapseed.
All is not well. Fort Knox Fence guy has had several tons of sand delivered in massive ton (?) weight sacks in his driveway piled up, and has his gate open all day allowing his Alsatian to run free in the road. He has a mate with him, helping get the sand in bit by bit. And either one or other of them is drilling in the ground in the back garden all day long. So much so, that the books in my potting shed keep sliding off the shelves, and I have to go in to push them back on.
What is he doing? Building an underground nuclear bunker?
Something happened yesterday with Shadow. She had fed yesterday morning, and left by my side passage, but she would have been exposed to the Alsatian roaming by the time she got to my front garden with no/little escape. I heard her screaming. I froze. Then went out to the front, but the Alsatian was out there so came in sharply
I didn't see Shadow all day. Even the other strays didn't come in for food until Fort Knox Fence guy had packed up for the night and shut his gate. I was fearing the worst, but at nightfall she came in the garden for food. I went out but she ran away from me. That was unusual. She usually purrs and rubs my legs. Finally she came up to me, and I touched her to stroke her, but she attacked my hand. I didn't know if she was hurting, or if it was fear from whatever happened in the morning.
It is dawn, I've put some food out. But no Shadow yet.

Glad your talk went well and you got a nice brekkie.Good morning everyone on what looks to be another wonderful morning here in the dark and dangerous north. I hope so, it was a bit of a deluge last night. My talk seemed to go down well yesterday and there was several questions afterwards. Free breakfast and then some hard cash as a contribution to fuel costs, enough for two tablespoons of regular. I noticed that the local petrol station has closed the pumps and you now have to bid online for a plastic container of fuel hiding behind one of several doors to chants of “take the money, open the box”. Are we still sitting, glued to the road, wearing protective hi-viz? Installers of the multi-fuel burner today - hooray - shall we order some koffy logs? https://www.bio-bean.com/coffee-logs/.
Art today - taken on a box brownie. Have a smashing day, I shall be cheering the parade of the bin lorry and slurping koffy.

Thanks @Granny_grump_.
Hopefully shadow will be back when she realises that all is calm and safe for her, she won’t miss out on her food no way. K
Thanks @ianpspursIs it wrong of me to wish you all top of the morning? is that cultural appropriation or the very worst kind of lazy stereotype? Anyhow, the wish is genuine and here is a poem and some thoughts from Malcolm Guite as my contribution to the creative element of the thread. @gennepher you started today's creative sharing so thank you for another splendid kaleidoscope. I hope shadow is speedily recovered to her former trust and friendly disposition. @dunelm thank you for the art. I'm glad the talk went well and I hope the installation goes well. Do invest in coffee logs - bean to fire must be a winner. Two roasts are better than one style of thing. @SlimLizzy spartan is always a good look for me but we all have our own personal taste. Remember to build in rest and relaxation. Just now I have a 2 yo granddaughter dressed in a Poppy troll costume bought by her 92 yo Great Grandmother aka Nanny London watching Troll on Netflix with her Nanny. We have a granddaughter called Poppy. How very singular. Whatever you do today, do it safely but above all with love.

Didn't really want to get up, but lots to do by lunchtime. Sheets in the wash, Google promises sunshine today, do i believe it?
The orange sky last night is as reliable an indicator. Mr mole is creating more disturbance in the garden, but is probably way down MrSlims jobs list. Call for Kevin, I say. Chores calling, got to go, have to somehow create a third guest bedroom. I do have a bed to go in there, but not anything else in the way of furniture. Hmmm Spartan style is all the rage this year? Are you convinced? No! Neither am I. Time to phone a friend, I think.
