2022/23 Football Season.

World Cup starts this weekend and England face Iran on Monday afternoon. I'm working so won't see it. :(
Good luck to all teams playing in the league this weekend.

Hope you feel better soon mate. There's a lot of viruses going around at the moment. I've had a pesky cough for the past 3 weeks or so. A few of my work colleagues have too.

We've had some rain and still..... not much walking to be done as all the wet weather gear is soaked!!

Well, that didn't go well!
A goal down early on, lots of antics, our defender sent off, correctly. Played better second half got a penalty, keeper saved a poor penalty, they went and scored a decent goal to wrap it up.
But, overall, I think we deserved a point, but you have to get the ball in the net to do that and didn't!

In a two horse race coming second is a sackable offence!

you would think with no premiership games, that there would be a chance for lower league clubs to be on tele!

We got knocked out of the pizza cup on pens!
Not disappointed but another revenue source gone. Likelihood of strengthening the squad in January transfer window shrinking now.
Not in action because of someone's team, Saturday, cup action, second round. Good luck to all our teams still in!

Oh **** I'm working that day so won't get to see it live. Might get to see highlights though.
