I went out because there had been a loud noise in the night...

Creative is another digital sheep painting. But I need to get started on the day, so I didn't do much detail I normally do with the Thylacine brush stroke, so it's mostly left with the first broader flat brush stroke, and a little of the fine brush stroke of Syrup, to get that fine line round the eyes...

Have your best kind of day...I am stuck by the front window...Royal Mail are delivering a parcel between 09:19 and 13:19...it is blowing a hoolie out there.

And I have upset Midnight. I just tried singing to him. He sunk his teeth (no blood) into the fleshy part of my hand, and left the premises...

Time for a cuppa...

Blood sugars this morning were 6.1

Today is spoken for, so is lunch, hopefully with friends after a gentle walk. This afternoon will be nap time then plinky plonky or more likely I shall be taken to a supermarket and deposited in the koffy shop before I start filling other shoppers trollies who Mrs J wants to converse with.

Smart meter update.
I can and do wander around Tilehurst Towers switching equipment on and off with some sort idea of how much said equipment is stealing from my wallet, one of my sons has an electric car, a Nissan tree trunk or something like that and when he charges it up at his home his smart meter is in the grim looking red area. I am beginning to think these electric cars are not so environmentally friendly, bring back the bicycle I say.

Stay safe all, remember it’s beginning to feel like spring is in the air, yep farmer Giles is muck spreading again……
As long as he don't charge it up at your house!:)

Good morning everyone from a quite brisk and breezy start here in the dark and dangerous north. I don’t know the wind speed but as an experiment, have hung some washing on the line. I will check it in an hour to see if it’s still there. Are plastic pegs better at gripping than wooden ones? Mrs Miggins has taken the girl in the bubble “swimming” before she goes to her afternoon session at pre-school. Are we allowed to say pre-school or is it still nursery?. Girl in the bubble calls it school so what do I know? Art bit - a new sketch with some steps to nowhere. Have a great Friday if you can, soon be Rosenmontag and then pancake day. I’m saving all the ash from the fire for the day after that. Koffy finished, some more washing to get on with.

Interesting you have a Thylacine brush!
That marsupial wolf went extinct in the early 20th Century. An really interesting example of convergent evolution not to mention Australian sheep farmer persecution.

Enjoy the honeymoon period with that delightful smart meter Alf....

Fbg this morning was 6.1 that was ok rest of day has been awful overestimated my capabilities drove to Nottingham City Hospital for appointment but underestimated the amount of walking required when it came to leaving the hospital was in so much pain could hardly make it back to the car Melody had to lift my legs back into the car for me then had to sit in car park for 30 minutes til pain subsided enough to drive had to drive in short stages back home took hours just to cover the 11 miles home. Been in bed since still hurting now.
Out come of appointment not that great either seems I have Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis general consensus more than likely caused or made worse by Covid.
I really do hope that you are feeling a little better today.

A shame that Midnight didn't like your singing @gennepher. When my girls were young they begged me not to sing along to the radio when their friends were in the car.

Morning all from a dull and blustery location which the Good Lord clearly feels is best for me just now. I obviously just need to get with the program. Can't go over it etc. @JohnEGreen hug for both the pain and news yesterday. Thoughts and prayers with you and all who find hospital parking expensive, difficult and asking too much of their bodies. @gennepher thanks for the sheep creative and hopefully you'll enjoy cuppas from the flask? whilst keeping watch for that/those parcel(s). @dunelm thanks for sharing the start of another in this series of splendidly thought out and delivered structures. You spoil us sir. Our brood refer to those institutions as pre-school. Parents see them as a substantial investment and pathway into aspirational schools. @alf_Josiah quite the full agenda for today. No grandchildren today and I was just getting into my stride again with nappy changing but I had forgotten just how much an 18 month old's system transits. Another excellent sleep score from fitbit after a carby - 19 gms - meal last evening. Could be a totally spurious link. A magical mystery tour in and out of Cambs and Suffolk yesterday due to this. Needed to use the Kia for best updated navigation so all the fun of the funfair. To my biased eyes that route has even worse roads especially those maintained by Suffolk. How hard can it be for Sainsbury's in Ely to stock pyjamas for a 3 year old girl amongst the 4 gazillion sqr feet of princess dresses and other dross? Why no Metanium either? Anyhow, super salmon salad day today so, yes @gennepher, my best kinda day allowing for absent grandchildren and the clown show running this country. How about you good folks?

Hi all legs still somewhat painful but no where near as bad as yesterday it was not so much car to hospital as long winding corridors and having to go between floors that triggered the episode.

As for the PF there are two medications they were considering pirfenidone and nintedanib but as I am on Edoxaban nintedanib is not suitable so they hope to start me on pirfenidone next week depending on my blood tests seems you have to plaster yourself in factor 50 sun blocker while taking them so no sun tan next summer.

Fbg this morning 6.8 not so bad.

Sensible clothing. In Sainsbury’s? Are you mad? Surely children go to bed in Disney cartoon outfits nowadays like their mums go shopping in onesies. Enjoy that super salmon salad.

On the plus side their aspirational tuna is on point. Seems millenial's/gen z's idea of a big night in may be tinned fish so I thought I'd do some cultural appropriation. My instinct (ok, confirmation bias) is that was more responsible for the sleep score. Further experimentation is needed despite the sharp intake of breath from JKP. My starter for 10 is medical science research is expensive my dear. Bonus questions, if needed, will be on beauty products when she is clearly plenty gorgeous enough. If even that fails I may need to escalate matters - tie breaker - and reluctantly :angelic: enquire how much 4000 football pitches of shoes might cost. No risk no reward. :)

Never seen that kind of tuna, Ian. Might actually be edible, by the looks of it. Tinned tuna, whatever the medium it is in, is totally unacceptable to my mind (or taste buds, or stomach).
