Trip went well Dunelm. Thanks.
It was a long day and very tiring. Helen spoke to the pre assessment nurse on the phone whilst I was in the clinic. She thought it would be too much traveling 80 miles from Cumbria, having the op and recovery and then driving back to Cumbria same day.
So we drive there on 17th March for my op in the afternoon I then stay in the ward over night and get taken home by Helen next day.
Got some good news about my CT Colonoscopy early January. Results were delayed because Locum Consultant left the Cumberland Infirmary and nobody was given my case to tie up.
Any way they could not find any malignancy which is good as it can be.
Get these skin lesions sorted out and it looks as though we can get away to see some different birdlife with a short holiday

Good morning everyone from what may be a nice sunny day here in the dark and dangerous north. The grandchildren are getting ready to go to the swimming baths this morning - what fun. Floating devices have been dragged out of the shed. They have their names on to avoid conflict - much like countries but that has never seemed to work. Art work, joining together the two towers. Have “as good as it gets” a day as you can. I shall drink koffy and enjoy a morning of quiet before joining everyone for lunch.

Its morning in Little America and I guess where you are also. The weather here can't decide if it wants to be sullen or cheerful but we few, we happy few know, we know. Not St Crispin's day, one of the 4 options for St Matthias. @dunelm those towers are looking magnificent even now. I can't wait to see them in full colour. I'm sure they will be built back better. Enjoy lunch with the swimmers. @lindisfel good news on four fronts; the colonoscopy, lesions, better logistics at Freemans and the prospect of travel. Excellent. Only phone call from MIL was at 8.30 last evening so she was hopefully more settled and slept better. One of my 5 missions (important not to say Pledge, product placement is vey, vey bad) today is to have my SSS - toasted pine nuts atop, natch. Take full advantage of every opportunity to enjoy God's blessings today. If they appear to be playing hide and seek remember that plucky couple Neil and Nell Desperandum. I am so happy - fbs still in the sixes at 6.7. It was a really hectic day yesterday and I did admin instead of the second dog walk so only did 10K steps - so I thought fbs might go up to the sevens. So happy that it did not.

The fox is stealing the shiny tin foil containers...

I have another stray. It is a white cat with bits of black on it. It is absolutely petrified and shaking.I can't get near it. It has a sore round its neck where the collar was. I am calling it Pixel.
I would like to know where all these signs are leading to my garden...
Why do people think they can chuck a cat out to fend for itself because they say they can't afford to feed it now? That is no excuse. It doesn't wash with me. It is one cat they have, and it is the first to go...
It makes me sad. That is one confused, bewildered little cat out there...
I think I'll be making another stray cat pod today...

That looks like a very friendly sheep.
Those cats are so lucky to have you there Gennepher. What would they do without you? There must be some kind of cat bush network that is passing the word around about your haven of a garden.

@gennepher thank you for sharing the video and the sheep, cat and dandelion? creative. Fluffy seems to be the vibe of the day. Those cats must have some kind of feline WhatsApp type group they use to share your location. A kind of FRG - (feline research group). Does Midnight play the JRM role/act as convenor? You and your menagerie have your best days.

Good Afternoon, another late posting from Tilehurst Towers.
Blood sugars this morning were a surprising 5.5, Me, me’s and myself know why and we are not telling.
This Morening started early before 8:00am, stripping the case of a desktop computer, photographing the graphics card and sending the photos off to the prospective purchaser.
Then stir Mrs J from her slumbers and just past 9:15 we are out across Reading to a cheap petrol shop which is close to B&Q, fill up then to B&Q to purchase some electrical conduit, Mrs J to look at weeds for planting in pots and back to Tilehurst Towers before the purchaser arrives.
The deal is done and this afternoon could be be a long overdue relax, but I have a Mrs J who invents tasks for allegedly idle husbands, must sign out now, I’m on the receiving end of some suspicious glances.
Stay safe all.

We have a photo, taken one New Year's Eve, of Great Gran using a straw to imbibe from a 2 litre bottle of single malt we bought her. That night she needed one person to pull her up stairs and two to push but slept like a log. She was in her late 80s then. Nan London (MIL) also runs on blended but she is more than welcome to the run of the cellar. The finest malts with cask numbers and certificates of authenticity were consumed by No 1 son and a cast of thousands while myself, JKP and No 3 son were in France.You must be the first man I have known who gives his finest malt to his m.i.l.
