What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Hi all seemed like a good a place as any for a newly to ask. Why is the fasting one important. Not done many of them because only diagnosed type 2 for 6 months ago. Worst one today at 7.5 mmmm!!then there’s the dawn phananom that adds random amounts. What am i missing apart from a big chunk of Victoria sandwich cake

Good to see you here. Perhaps you might like to start a thread outlining your diet and other ways of managing your diabetes as this will allow more discussion and be more helpful for you.

Swipey displayed 4.9 first thing. What that means for my wellbeing is a whole other thing and the twain are probably totally unconnected but someone has to keep all those folks at Abbott in work in these dark times. Enjoy the day as much as possible but be honest, some days are just awful.

Morning all. Bedtime 6.8. This morning 7.1. Well, that's better but I've given up trying to work out why it's so different from yesterday. I thought it could be excitement but I'm more excited as the weekend gets nearer so I'll just go with the flow and not worry. Happy Thursday everyone. It may be a bit nippy out there but the sun is shining!
