What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

This morning FBG steady at she goes at 6.5 on the finger prick, Libre said 6.0 bang on the nose.

According to Libre, yesterday BG level at bedtime was 5.3, lowish all day apart from the morning spike for no reason which I have yet to figure.

Have a lovely Sunday folks.

FBG 7.7 very stressed yesterday, took my dog to the vet as he refused to eat breakfast (never been known to refuse any food in all of his 10 years of life!), she discovered a lump under his tongue :( You realise how wonderful our nhs is when you have to pay £250 for a vet consultation, treatment and 2 lots of medications!

13.6 this morning... But it was my birthday yesterday so I went to an all you can eat Chinese, I managed to get my bloods to 8.2 (my lowest ever) before the meal but they bounced to 18.8 after. I was sensible, avoided the rice had a small portion of noodles lots of crispy duck pancakes with no sauce and a tiny slice of cake, I'm still yet to be diagnosed so figured I would make the most of it without being a spoon.
Do you mind me asking were you given a meter and told to test ?

Morning all , strange one yesterday. Had normal meals and bombing along at 5.2 suddenly was sick at about 22.00 dizzy. Bloods up/ down like a yo-yo. 2 hrs later felt completely 100% and bloods this morning 5.1. Must have been something I ate !!
Or the heat depending where you live ?

6.2 this morning - have developed a niggling toothache now, I cannot win. Just cart me off now. Too tired to argue with it, cannot wait to go to bed and try and get some sleep. Last night was a nightmare!

6.4 today. :)
@MissMuffett . Hope your dog is ok.
I would gladly hand over £250 to the vet to sort the health issues that have me on NHS waiting lists for over a year.
Not going to get myself in bother for derailing the thread, so will leave it at that. :bag:
