What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Firstly, wonderful to see you @karen8967 and I echo @alf_Josiah's (now there's a first) good wishes . Ten degree temperature drop here which 93 y.o. MIL appreciates but none of that rain malarkey nor socks - hurrah. MIL looked at the Glastonbury performers with the eyes of one thinking what are these youngsters doing cavorting about - even Candy Staton (83). @gennepher hug for the lost fruit, winner for the stuffing recycling and Big Ted plan. Thanks for the video - what did happen to Susan Stranks? - and another majestic (other early main potatoes are available but lack their quality, so white ) kaleidoscope. @Annb I hope Neil manages to get those bins out. @dunelm all that work saved by the rain, fantastic. Thanks for sharing your talent - when fully restored will that become your spare wine cellar? Attached will take some spin doctoring to explain away despite CamOs talking out of their fundaments last week. T-shirt for this arrived today - good cause I think having seen the impact on a few youngsters. Order your turkey but maybe don't put the sprouts on for a few days although the NHS dental deserts are impacting.

Dyson ball maintenance this am cleaning the filters due bad suction, will have to wait whilst they dry.
Vastly overrated piece of kit we hardly ever use now. We do have four vacuums including my old industrial vacuum.
Cooler outside this am at 17 Deg C not expected to get up to 20 today.

Agree they are overrated - used my parent's one - meh. Could suck as much with a straw. Probably my preference for labels but not a patch on the Kirby imho. We have had one since long before THAT event but since Dyson was very pro-leave I won't even dry my hands with his kit.

And then I am thinking, hey I can resurrect Big Ted now...he is still in his sorry state in the potting shed from when that badger KissyKissy pummelled and soaked him. I don't have time yet, maybe an autumn project...
That sounds like a really good Autumn project. It will be nice to see Big Ted resurrected.

Yes, I agree. We have a Shark vacuum now but I must confess that I do like my Dyson hairdryer and straightening tongs.

Cherry season here. Black, red, pink ( just a few left) and white. 20230626_153239.jpg
Three layer day here too @Annb, but for the opposite reason. The sunburn mentioned a few days ago continued to get worse, with multiple small blisters forming. This despite factor 50 and covering up with an extra layer each day. Now wearing three layers of clothes if outside in the sun, which I am trying to avoid.
The horrible texture of my back had me wondering if I was turning into a toad.

I love white cherries but we don't see them very often here - probably just as well for me.
