What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

6.8 and I'm a little better than yesterday!
The tap has finally turned off.
Still symptoms but better.
Back to my other symptoms!
Sciatica better as well!
Been doctors again!
Wife, so confused about why she was there!
That is It for today!
Too much to do now!
Set and windy this morning, sunny and windy now! Not warm!
Best wishes everyone!
Just to stir the pot, Elvis was overrated. Good vocals, good body movements, but couldn't do much else especially acting!
His whole act was the same for years!
Just stirring!

No problem Lamont I wouldn't fight over singers, I just enjoy what appeals to me and all our taste are different. I like country and folk and some of the early rock and roll, and classical.
Don't like Jazz.

Thank you. Quite a good day - almost like Monopoly. Bank sent a letter telling me they made a mistake by not sending correct documents in 2008 so they will be giving me some money to help W******* in these tough times. Should buy a decent bottle of Rum, a reasonable red or two and the odd sticky bun for the kids :D
That rum looks far tastier than the Pussers rum we got when traveling by the Senior Service Ubers.

Morning again from where summer is delayed at the sorting hub according to the attached. Same Evri day lately, I preferred June's Prime weather :D Still better than 40+ or needing heating and Sou'westers. Today was the last day of school year in 1992 in Cambs. Like a good boy our youngest son arrived at 14.00 hrs so I could leave at lunch, drive down the A1 from Peterborough and see him arrive. The midwife seemed to think as we already had two I/we could be left alone - not sure my Uncle (top man there) would have been impressed if told but all was well. His brothers were a tad miffed that at two hours old he mustn't be fed the smarties they tried to force feed him. I spent the next few days deep cleaning the house - Milton everywhere, literally, even every light bulb. JKP had had some issues with the pregnancy. @dunelm hug for the need to take so many painkillers but enjoy your walk, time with the youngsters and travels. Thanks for sharing the art and nice start to your post. @gennepher thanks for the creative which seems redolent of Australia to me - deliberate, inspired by daughter? @Annb good on Em for bouncebackability. @SlimLizzy hug for the emotional problems and extra work from the leak. @lindisfel good memory of the GA. @alf_Josiah you have what some call a Honeydo relationship, not uncommon I'm told. Enjoy your day as much as possible everyone. We may have this treasure in earthen vessels and a few tents herein are showing signs of wear but it is still treasure.
Edited to make DOB for #3 correct
Happy birthday to your son, Ian. Hope today was a good one for him. It must have been, for you, all those years ago.

Just up from my bed and having a cup of tea. Don't know why but, despite efforts to avert it I had a long lasting hypo. Then when BG started to come up I started feeling really awful - probably because of all the efforts to boost the BG. Bit of a wasted afternoon. Legs bad as well - no reason for that except, perhaps, my Move More class this morning. Never mind - it'll pass.

A much better day after a very difficult week. Not terribly productive but did manage a few tasks. Only one panic attack and only one icecream eaten. Time to find the cat and persuade her to come inside for the night.
Got stung, beelike insect caught inside my sandal. Applied some Wasp-eze spray, suitable for multiple types of sting. Very effective. Discovered it has been discontinued some years ago and use by date is 06-96. Not throwing it out as it still works.

A wet day in prospect today. The better half is going into town and then catch the 9 am bus to Tai Chi in Carlisle, then back home for lunch.
I have some paper work to do. The trip will help her mixing with others. She saw her doctor the other day who was surprised at 81 she had no regular meds prescribed.

Not so with me the last 35 years I have had an increasing cocktail of diverse drugs, so much so I can't drink much more than tap water when I go to a pub and do you know I don't miss alcohol.
Have great day all of you.
Derek

Huzzah for the better half but a hug for the film clip from that film “Designated Driver”.

Good morning everyone on what looks to be a dull and lackluster day with the possibility of rain here in the dark and dangerous north. Still, that’s better than being choked by smoke from flash fires and temperatures of over 40 degrees. Wonder how many will be trying to claim their money back because these items were not listed in the holiday itinerary. Trip advisor - 1 star for not mentioning scorchio. Oh! 5.0 this am. Today is still a mystery as the keeper of my diary has yet to inform me what it contains. Art bit, inking done I think. Hope your day is good to you, there is always something and it’s International Bin day tomorrow. Best pour this koffy.

6.4 at 2 am. Had gone to bed at 11 pm, so no wonder I was earlier waking than usual. Up to 8.9 now so I'll have to think about breakfast but have decided not to take insulin and see what happens - really don't want a repetition of yesterday. Neil will go shopping for me today and also go to the garage to arrange when to take the car in for repairs. They have the part now. Don't know how long it will take them to fix it. I've been signed up for a weight congtrol class starting in August (on my birthday in fact) but it's at 5.30 pm which isn't a very good time so that might go by the wayside.
