What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.7 last night 5.6 this morning. A question my levels start to drop once I wake up, none of this dawn phenomena. This morning was as above 5.6 30 mins later now at 4.7 anyone else get this.
I can't say I've ever experienced a fall after logging my FBG, but I'm type 2 and not on insulin.

FBG 6.7 at 7am this morning. It was 8.5 just gone midnight, I’d just finished baking.

Off on a long weekend to an island cut off by tide with 8 children & 10 adults, it’ll be a kind of cross between Enid Blyton and Bear Grylls. Debating on whether to test whilst away - food choices determined by others is always tricky.

Sounds my idea of heaven Enjoy :)

6.9 this morning didn't sleep very well and really hungry so ended up getting back up and having a bread based snack .
If that happens to me I have chunks of cheese or cooked ham or chicken (if I have any in the fridge) as this fills me up but doesn’t spike my blood glucose, plus it doesn’t cause a carb crash a few hours later. Might be worth a try?
