What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Yes, officialdom works against us...
Plenty of fairies in my garden @Annb
Thank you.

My sister towards the end of her life reckoned a man used to come into the front garden every evening and settle himself down for the night between the front wall and the shrubs.
She also thought she had seen a Tiger in a nearby garden that was roaming around. I think it was something to do with a Tiger ornament they had.
Some think these are the classic symptoms of Lewi Body Dementia.

Actually she never saw any fairies, so seeing fairies seems be a good sign.

That's interesting. Tom had Lewy Bodies as a result of his Parkinsons and he used to "see" things. I didn't realise there was any connection.

Up in Northern Norway, Alta, that sort of place. The sky is blisteringly clear - mind you, the temperature is blisteringly cold but unlike the UK, very dry. Antarctic - well South Georgia is similar but for some reason the firmament is quite different. Oh, and crossing the equator in the middle of the night is quite interesting when all the ships lights are turned off apart from the little red and green ones.
So @dunelm you will have seen both borealis and australis, being in the Army is a big experience for modern soldiers if it doesn't come up with too many life threats.

We saw the Southern Sky when we went to NZ because Helen was over there for a year. The night sky was really bright but no South pole star just a constellation near by.
As you say the night sky has a different look. The Australian aborigines saw their map through the outback in the sky...rather mystical.

When we were in NZ there had been been a big eruption of Mount Pinatubo in the Philippines. What incredible sunsets we had cos we had beautiful weather that autumn (our Spring) NZ had their coldest winter afterwards for many years even their glaciers started advancing that year for just one year.

Fairy rings are welcome.
Gremlins are the reason for a few stitches.
Goblins are used for boiling water, it's a goblin teasmade!
Pixie dust helps with imaginary pain.
Smurfs are blue. But so am i, well depressed.
Mermaids are wet.
Nymphs are dangerous.
And don't invite a vampire in!

Getting warmed up for Halloween.
Been a warlock once!

Well you did have a bishop in Liverpool once who was a Warlock.

Thanks for all the hugs over the heating. Percy the pump was stuck in his ways since we haven't awoken him since 5th August service. Relationship between Hive on my phone and the boiler now repaired. Thanks be to God and Larry the engineer :woot:
Good news that Percy the Pump is now working and Hive is behaving itself.

I had no option it was an immediate response to a phone call to plan a visit from service for us.
D.
Those immediate responses are always light years ahead. The chimp in my head comes out with all sorts of crazed suggestions - I just have to shove it back in it’s box before my mouth engages ;) :arghh:

Good morning from an early start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.6 this am.
Flue jab yesterday - check
Covid jab yesterday - check
Bag packed - check
Transport all in order - who knows!
Art bit - just some color added. Hope your day is a smasher. Best make koffy.

It's not the getting down, it is the first movement to try and get up, without a stable support, it can be hilarious as my rear end usually ends up in the air! I do have a prominent lower leg bone protruding in front of my knee, and it makes it awkward to use that to kneel.
I usually only put one knee down, still need support as this keeps my neck straighter.
I still bend over to pick things up, cos I forget to remember I shouldn't!
Bloody arthritis!
The legacy of too much standing on windy winter terraces!

Hope your day goes well @dunelm
Nice light touch of colour added...

I'm trying to work out what the emojis could be - presumably should be after the yesterday. Hopefully in another 25 years you'll crack the scheduling. You must be just on the edge of The Fens if Lynn is the border.
I was trying to get emojis in a totally different paragraph and hadn't noticed that they had landed there instead.
I think that we are more central Norfolk as we are about 30 miles from Kings Lynn but we do have a lovely little fen about 5 minutes away from our house.

A badger & 2 cats

Unfortunately the trolls are out in full force. It is getting worse and ridiculous. But if the top comment is a full of hatred vitriol comment, & that I ought to be reported for posting these videos and letting the stray cats stay outside leaving them in danger of their lives (you don't want the details these trolls post saying the stray cats are going to be ripped apart by the badgers etc with gory details), and that I should round them up and keep them indoors, more troll comments follow instantly exactly on the same lines (same troll with different accounts?). I am not going to say the worst comments because they are upsetting. I had intended dealing with them tonight, but instead of going to sleep last night, because even one troll was breeding faster than fruit flies. So I had to nip it in the bud. Checked rules and regulations on what is best course of action on both Instagram and YouTube. And carried those things out.
But I do like a balance in the comments. So I had to debate with myself on that in which to leave in, which were borderline ones. t the moment I am leaving those in, but with a response from me explaining ( but you cannot discuss with a troll), and if they responded with the same comment again but dressed a little differently but with the same not nice words or insinuations, then I despatched them to oblivion.
But this takes too much time as well as editing the videos etc.
Unfortunately I cannot leave them in the comments because either they attract more trolls and not nice comments so that it overwhelms that thread of comments, or other commentators pick up on the message and continue the hate, or the troll has multiple accounts.
I nearly considered deleting the YouTube and Instagram last night, I have plenty of things I can do with my life than deal with this.

I am reconsidering my position today over this.
I am talking with a friend today over this.
I had intended doing these videos until the end of 2024, so I did have an end date in mind, but that could be sooner now....

So very little sleep last night. Just had a Power Nap because I need to be somewhere else other than here and on the way now...

Creative - a fox I drew, but I made the stars too big, and so I think it looks like snow...

You all have a good day.

Don't let the b******s grind you down.

I will have some strategies by the end of the day...

Have a cuppa...

I will check for typos later, don't have time this minute...
