gorgeous sunny day here, but cold. Minus 5 this morning…plus 1 now. Just had a great walk with hubby and puppy. Paid the final instalment for our condo in Mexico…just a month and a bit away! Heading to the island (Vancouver island) next week to see friends, our son, and other family. It’s an adventure and never fun…hate driving anywhere near Vancouver (ferry terminal). Hoping it doesn’t snow too much over the mountain passes. I despise driving in the snow…

Sounds very glamourous sitting here in very grey Grimsby, but I do understand the stresses involved in travelling in snow. Take care, hope all goes well.

I can't remember if I posted yesterday so that was 7.6 and this morning was 8.1 ! Having a run of poor sleep again which =tiredness=carb craving which has resulted in me over indulging .

FBG 5.8 on the fingerprick this morning, 6.2 on Libre. Nice and steady, happy with that. The feline is also a lot more like his usual self, so alls well on this windy & wet Saturday.

8.3 mmol this morning and a small reduction on yesterday's 8.9 and I'm kicking myself for over indulging at tea time yesterday, or it might have come in even lower.
I've only just taken my morning meds..... Almost missed them, as I thought I'd taken them earlier, but hadn't
.... Wonder if this is Diabetic brain fog?
I usually take meds upon waking , so I don't miss them, but for whatever reason it never happened this morning....

Forgot to post yesterdays which was 7.9mmols and this mornings is 9.0!
It seems to have been a week of sabotage so we’ll quickly pull a veil over it and move on
It is now out of my system (hopefully). It’s true what they say, sugar being like crack cocaine and the best way to tackle it is to eradicate it completely. I’m making a promise to this group that my numbers will be better from now on. I have to be accountable.
