I blame @alf_Josiah for not going shopping with Mrs A J - and those way up Norf who would rather count it than spend it. :D Get thee spending, it is the will of the people. Shop about to helpout scheme incoming. They know how to be patriotic in Norfolk :D There has also been a big drop in sales of tents after Xiella let loose . Photo makes her look jacked up to high heaven.

Wildlife nighttime camera.
I haven't had time to upload any more sd cards, so I am behind with that. Hoping to do some this afternoon, but I need more sleep...

However, I found one that I uploaded but didn't publish. It is from a couple of months ago. So...
Fox & Badger & Cats

Creative is a photo of some fungi in my garden which I have never seen before. It looks so pretty. Like flowers. There are loads of them...
Google tells me it is called Barometer earthstar...but I think there are other possibilities...

I think I have eaten too much cauliflower. It was nice, but I have very bad wind. I do have problems with IBS. Last time I had wind this bad was June 1977. How do I remember? Simple. I was pregnant. I am certainly not pregnant now...

I have taken some Windeze. I am eating some crystallised ginger...this wind is not shifting. It is painful and making me very tired and I am unable to do anything...any ideas?

I am just going to take a second dose of Windeze...

Midnight knows I don't feel good and his weight and heat is firmly ensconced on my tummy...

Time for a cup of hot water...

Have your best day...

I hope the windeze and crystallised ginger help so you can get some rest. I sympathise as JKP really suffers with IBS and needs to be careful what she eats. Basically if I can eat it and like it she can't or in very limited quantities. Very loving of Midnight. Thanks for sharing the video and photo.

Winner or hug? I wasn't sure. The wind issues deserve a hug - it can be very painful. I tend to drink hot water with lemon and ginger. It calms my stomach down at least. Perhaps mint tea might help.

Looks like collared earthstars. Sip warm water, perhaps with peppermint if you can stand it. Don’t listen to anyone talking about standing on your head ;) :arghh:

Now may be a good time to clear those books of Green shield stamps you've been saving for a rainy day. The ones Mrs Miggins thought you'd put in a skip when you moved but you knew, you just knew :)
I managed to sell mine as a stamp album, sight unseen to a keen philatelist who, as far as I am aware is a General in the Nigerian Army.

Hope he paid cash and didn't want bank transfer details. Was his dad also a long lost and very distant relative with a significant bequest for you by any chance? If so I've some bad news for you. We've probably exhausted this one now

I don't know my earthstars. I am dependent on Mr Google for information.

Got plenty of mint still growing. Will try that after Ian's camomile @dunelm

It is a good job you warned and told me. I was about to try standing in my head next...oh well, that saved a nasty accident...

If you stop the majority of the population having spending money, what do you think will happen?
If most of people's income is going to fewer people, how can the retailers share do anything but go down?g
there is a huge number now, that can't afford to spend money they haven't got.
Batshit crazy Tory economics.
No growth whatsoever!
If government gave more interest in actually helping the people, then the economy would have to look after itself!
People first!

Thanks @Annb for your suggestions
Windeze usually works immediately. But not today.
I have gone through a load of crystallised ginger. Not sure what the sugar coating is doing to my blood sugar levels. But you reminded me, I do have a tub of powdered ginger and have lemon...
I still have mint in my container veg garden...

I hope your blood sugar levels have stabilised since yesterday. You had a stressful day what with sorting a car out as well x

Fennel seeds made up in a tea are really good for digestive discomfort. Worth a try it will get things moving. I sometimes use it after a meal and it helps trapped wind and bloat. The chamomile tea is also good as recommended. It calms the mind and the tummy. Hope you feel better soon x

Have had fun with our surgery.
Ten days ago, the pharmacy rung me and informed me that the surgery needed a review of Mrs L pain killers.
So I phoned up and made a phone appointment with named doctor.
Monday, phoned surgery to ensure delivery of meds.
Tuesday, meds arrived, no pain killers. Phoned again, the receptionist said it will be sorted.
Wasn't.
Wednesday, phoned again, asked again, was put down for phone appointment with doctor.
No phone call, apparently phoned the house phone, that #8 had been playing with and wasn't plugged in.
Thursday. Phoned again, was again put on doctors list for phone appointment.
The doctor phoned issued prescription, no fuss angry because of no meds for Mrs L and asked about the walk in shower, early I intervention team for Mrs L. Nowt! Said she will push why not.
Friday, meds duly arrived.
What a kerfuffle!
As if I haven't got enough to concern myself with!

My first real experience of camomile tea drinking was a real shock. #1 grandson, then aged about 2 1/2, came into the lounge very early one morning, sat on my lap, turned on kids tv and asked for "camile" tea with his (Italian) Nutella on toast. Took me a few seconds to work out what was required. His Nonna gave him those. Nonna is from Essex, lives in Suffolk, but her parents are Italian and she retains lots of the traditions. The tea helped with his wind when he was younger.

I do have fennel tea...a friend bought me a box, but I never looked up what it was good for. I'll root that out of the box...thank you @Lainie71
That sounds a good idea to have it after the meal...
