2023/24 Football Season.

Darren Moore has been sacked so now we seek another manager. I suppose it's been coming. It's due to our abysmal performance. In all fairness to the bloke he came to us with what Warnock left us with and he only just sign some new players this month. I can'thelp thinking we have been a little hasty. I can understand our owner wanting results but he's expecting too much too soon. No doubt the moaners in our support club will be celebrating.
He is a better manager, coach than the situation he found himself in. The championship is lethal if not enough investment and quality of playing staff.
If you don't get the right coach, I fear relegation for your lot mate.

And the big weekend has arrived. Big Yorkshire derby tomorrow. It's a 6 pointer that we need to win. QPR travel to Blackburn and the way Blackburn have been performing the visitors could easily win that one which could spell trouble for us. Watch this space.
Good luck to all teams playing this weekend. Hope they win.

I agree with you there mate. The fact that he lead Sheff Weds to victory then got sacked says it all. We need a miracle now.

Away at Ayr Utd tomorrow, need to get back in the scoring goals and winning games... :banghead:

Aberdeen sacked their manager.... again.
4 in 3 years...
Becoming really quite silly. The game is so full of such short term contracts that there's no continuity season to season on the park.

Good luck to all our teams. May they score a bucketful.

Home to the club we have played the most in league football, Crewe.
They are in the play offs and having a decent season.
Gonna be a hard game.
Good luck to all our teams playing this weekend.

When a club has no chance of winning or even doing well in a division where one or two clubs have the financial monopoly and domination is the norm.
Boards of clubs, who find themselves in this position are always trying to be such. Alas, it doesn't happen.

Unfortunately, it has always been this way. Occasionally a club will defy the odds, but it doesn't happen often.

went 1-0 down and then came back for all three points.
With Raith Rovers losing on Friday night, and really imploding...
Morton coming up with great form at the moment...

Former Huddersfield Town boss Neil Warnock has been appointed as the new manager of Aberdeen. The 75-year-old has joined the Scottish Premiership outfit until the end of the season, while the club undergoes a “wide-ranging review of the football operation”.

The former Terriers boss joins the Dons with the club sitting eighth in their division, with the veteran manager taking his first game in charge against Rangers at Ibrox on Tuesday. Warnock has returned to the dugout for the first time since his seven-month spell with Town, where he guided the Terriers to Championship safety last season before departing the club in September.

Now there's a turn up for the books. We could do with him back here. Having said that we performed much better without a Manager on Sunday so who knows. Hopefully we will perform good down at Southampton on Saturday though that's a totally different ball game so to speak.

If I am not mistaken it's his 20th appointment!
Dandy Dons could do a lot worse... in fact they have.
Always going to be an interesting appointment.
Ibrox for your first game is a one...

Trip to St Mary's to face Southampton for our lads today. Not expecting much from that as the Saints are on fire at the moment. It would be good if we as a managerless team pull off a win. Meanwhile QPR have a home tie with Norwich. Sheff Weds beat the Brummies last night so close the gap to 5 points. Another nerve rattling day..
Good luck to all our teams in action this weekend. Hope they win.
