What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good you got it working again, Genn.

If it's of any use, switching off WiFi & running in flight mode will let it charge faster and once off flight mode all that's running is apps you have approved or have sneakily given themselves access rights/permissions.

Maybe once off line hunt the new apps of recent months to see which if any are using excess permissions ?

My guess is one of your sketch / paint types is using up battery ...but it's only a guess .
Hi @jjraak
Yes I have found that, some apps do sneakily give themselves permissions, especially after an update, I find.
You're right...I need to investigate more within settings....and to see what might be battery hungry...
I will check the sketch apps out...

EDIT: Found that I have a new mail app (last few days) that really appears to be a battery drainer....yet the same mail app on my iPad mini uses virtually nothing...

I've reviewed my initial reply and now wonder if this is more appropriate - btw, who is that guy anyhow? If you were serious gentle hugs.

Fbg this morning 8.2 bit disappointing but with the last couple of weeks experience not surprising I have a lot of catching up to do on my return from the twilight zone better known as QMC ward E16 and will spend the extra few hours doing so it’s good to be back.
So glad you are back in the comfort of your own home @JohnEGreen
I am really pleased for you.

Thank you everyone for all your help yesterday, my phone is now holding a battery charge without draining faster than a sieve...

And so, my creative which was a line drawing of the river and the two power stations which I was going to add colour to, to make it blue and moody this morning, I now have now put colour and a sunrise which occurs about that point at this time of year....the sunrise is often a dramatic red. I cannot even remotely recreate that effect here.

Nighttime wildlife
Where's that Rat...

Still grey skies and raining here.
I am hungry....
Breakfast next.

Have your best kind of day...

She seems to be improving already and the rash is fading so it probably isn't measles. Maybe a reaction to something or other, but then the question is ... reaction to what? The problem of allergies and intolerances comes from both sides of the family. Alistair doesn't appear to have any problems but I do and Neil most definitely does and her Mum goes into anaphylactic shock if exposed to a fair number of things.
Good that EM is improving quickly. It does sound like it could be an allergy.

Good news on the phone front. Smashing picture - I think we drive past that scene when we go to Snowdonia - whatever it is now called.

Great that you are back home @JohnEGreen

Good morning everyone on a brisk, windy start to the day here in the dark dan dangerous north. A good day yesterday on the feet front and managed 13000 steps, a good number gained not just from walking into town and back but then a visit to a supermarket and up and down all the isles - indoor heated walking at it’s best (avoid the chilled isles). Have to nip to the butchers this morning - I feel a beef stew coming on for tomorrow. Art bit - random strokes, wet on wet, let dry, see what I can make of it. Hope your Wednesday is genuine. I need to make koffy.

Indoor walking is said to work just as well as outdoor walking @dunelm
And as you point out, it is heated!!!
I love the way the Art Bit has worked out....this is my favourite series so far...

Great sunrise @gennepher and brilliant that you have fixed your phone.

5.5 this morning.
Had a lovely time wondering around the Norwich lanes and then completely forgot about my resolution not to buy anymore clothes and ended up in the Rohan shop and bought two pairs of Troggins. They are so comfortable and my current pair are getting very old. So it is nice to get some smart new ones.

Morening Ladies and Gentleman.

Blood sugars this morning were 5.6

I shall be taking a sabbatical from posting on the forum for a few days, but I could, but no promises be reading a few posts.

Stay safe all, now I must go and part take in real life.
Hand and foot note a smile costs nothing, but gives so much, so glad @JohnEGreen is home and smiling, as tongue in cheek the medical staff are hehehe. Seriously glad you are home.

Morning all on what seems to be good news Wednesday for many. In no particular order (when did that become a thing?):: good to see you are home @JohnEGreen; great that you have fixed the battery issue @gennepher and thanks for sharing the art; glad you enjoyed wandering the lanes @Krystyna23040 - I imagine Mr K had a little chuckle at the latest impulse purchase - as per Wilde "I can resist everything but temptation" One reads that elements of the demi-monde were recently unduly exercised over the award of something also known as Oscar - how very quaint and ever so slightly vulgar; @Annb good news that Em appears to be recovering well. @dunelm excellent step count yesterday and enjoy the beef stew. Thank you for sharing the art.

One does so crave a soupcon of Fauvism and I am especially fond of the area of France associated with cave art but there are, and will remain, neither paintings not photos on any wall in this cave. I ceded enough territory to the forces of bad taste by allowing JKP to daub the walls with hideous non white paint. One needs to retain certain standards dear boy. (Nosce te ipsum) Y'all enjoy your day and steel yourselves for Biden Trump part ii.
