Afternoon all my sugars this morning were 14.2 on the Libre 2 sensor and I have been away for a funeral and that's why I've not sent any readings for a couple of weeks
Evening @florvic. 6.00 am seems pretty early to me.
As an alternative approach, have you considered @MissMuffett's challenge to stop eating after 7.00 pm? Meeting that 7.00 pm target has worked wonders for some of us.
Who will join me? I intend to do this for the rest of January- 10 days and hopefully I’ll have broken the habit by then and carry on. I‘m not hungry, I suspect I’m bored and it’s becoming a habit. So I thought if there were a few of us that struggle with this it would be good to record our...
5.8 prick, 5.4 Dexcom. I measured a little later than normal this morning, just forgot.
a wee bit of rain today, so needed. Already some devastating fires around here.
6.2 at 7am. My pain reached an all time high yesterday. Id taken all the painkillers I could and still had sciatica radiating down to my ankle. My neighbour gave me a tiger balm patch which was lovely and soothing. I had to take half a nytol at midnight so now I feel hungover Roll on 1st July.
Have a lovely Tuesday everyone and hugs to those that would like one x

Have you tried waiting half an hour? Obvs only if you have time, but I noticed when I was doing the Libre that there is a big foot on the floor surge when I wake up/get up, which settles down once I’ve been up for a while, but still before breakfast. It’s annoying because it’s so dependent on when on that curve i do the test.
Happy Tuesday!️
4.66 at 5:00 am California time. Personally, timing is important for me. What time do I start fasting and what time do I end after 8-9 hrs. My FBG is just about the same for the last 2 months. Have a nice day everyone!

Agreed, but I suppose it depends on the purpose of your FBG records. Testing as we wake is the simplest way to ensure the conditions pre check are as close to identical as humanly possible. The results then provide a useful benchmark for day to day comparison.
Our results if checking some time later will depend on what we were up to between getting out of bed and logging our FBG. When attempting a day to day comparison, we could be comparing apples and pears.
5.8 @ 4:26am. Yesterday 6.9. I dropped while point. Sleep is absent so I got up and tested. May 2024, HbA1c 48.00 down 7 points from 55.00 in October last year.
