Does anyone know if there is an alternative to Trulicity?. My pharmacist is having trouble getting it and has advised that I might need some kind of alternative. Has anyone else had this? (I know there is a shortage.)
Thanks
Linda

I've given up trying to get Trulicity and gone back on Sitagliptin as I can take any of the alternatives (Ozempic, Mounjaro, Wegovy) due to (very mild) retinopathy. There is also a tablet form of Ozempic (but I'm not sure of the name

Tagging @Rachox who I believe is quite knowledgeable on this subject.

Thanks for the tag @EllieM . I was on Victoza til early this year when I could no longer get it, similar to most GLP1 injections. I’m now on Rybelsus which is the tablet version of Ozempic.

Edit for clarity.

Hi, how have you found Trulicity? Have the serious side effects of thyroid cancer worried you? I've just been put on it but am extremely anxious....
