I played the highland pipes early in my army career and also Northumbrian small pipes. I can’t see any keys on the chanter in the photo so perhaps just the simple eight hole chanter. Additional keys on the chanter can be anywhere from four to seventeen, a bit like the keys on a clarinet. I managed a fifteen set, just. Always wanted to play the Uilleann pipes but never made it. Not Played for years and my fingers now couldn’t manage.

Think I need some slug pellets. A couple of plants have become fodder for them. Must go and get some.
Have had a couple of hours in pleasant sunshine. Reading with our food in the oven, and trying to hideaway from Mrs L. As today her mind is not with us unfortunately.
It can be so hard sometimes to discover which thread, she is trying to talk about. All over the place.
Watching the footie, if I can.

I will take a morning photo of my roses tomorrow, that is my artwork for this week.
may be alright for the day after tomorrow.
but tomorrow may come too soon. ,
Friday nights all right for fighting.
I'm confused, is it manic Monday?

Druids around here...
This was Pen-y-Gladys Farm before the builder's bought it up....Ask for Gladys's help in lots of things and she will help....this is a special place midsummers day....that is when I collect my pink rosebuds and make a garland of them...
 
7.9 at 03.30 today - same as bedtime (24.00). By the time I was in the shower my Libre was yelling at me that I was at 10.8 and to do something about it. I just told it to shut up! It has now dropped to 8.4 and I'm having a big mug of tea.

Legs day today. Also a TV day - much later. "Who Do You Think You Are" is back so I have a date with that at 21.00. At last I can access all the functions of the different family history websites with this updated browser. Hurrah.

They kill birds and wildlife. slug pellets are deadly and have reduced Song Thrush numbers dramatically.
