I know water is the best but sometime I like a treat. I love Fresca and Crystal Light

I’ve done a Google search and I don’t think these drinks are available in the UK. I can’t easily find the ingredients or nutritional values either. If you could let us know these details we might be able to help.

Wasn’t it called “Cresta” back in the late 1970s/80s.
With a cartoon bear singing “it frothy man?” On adds in the UK.

OK. I just googled this from the late 1970s in the states.
I’m a very visual person & recognise the can’s graphics.
Back in the day as a kid on my way to school there was corner shop where I would occasionally pick up a can of “Tab.”
Everyone else bought coke..
I seem to remember these on display, too? Lol, I don’t remember them in a fridge.

Claims to be, sugar free.. I’d be more inclined to google the nutritional value on these products?

Fresca is made by Coca Cola … https://www.coca-cola.com/us/en/brands/fresca-sparkling-soda#accordion-9226fad062-item-e1d74f2fbf
Has no sugar, but does contain aspartame.

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified aspartame as a "possible" cause of cancer.

Crystal Light is made by Heinz … https://www.kraftheinz.com/crystal-...89-berry-sangria-naturally-flavored-drink-mix
Also has no sugar, but does contain sucralose and acesulfame potassium.

A study found that sucralose increased blood glucose levels and insulin levels while decreasing insulin sensitivity. This could negatively affect people, especially those with diabetes, who consume sucralose to try to manage their blood glucose levels.

Looks like both are marketed as zero sugar drinks.

This takes me back......
Roughly 50 years ago there were only 3 brands of fizzy pop available and only at the chemist.
Fresca tab and one cal.
It was a treat too.

I was never a big fan of coke and prefered the one cal as it came in different flavours which was very important to a six year old...lol
