I know how that feels when your parents can't see your skills o or you as an artisan.
my grammar school nearly crushed my academic knowledge, I have always said, I !earned more after school.
my physics teacher wrote in my report, that he was glad, I wouldn't be in his class the following year.
my sport brought me success in my playing, coaching and in pro sport. (Not p!aying)
I was always confident I could learn methods of assembly or in producing something, once I was shown how, once I saw the knack, once I understood the method and thought it through. I could and would do it. Not art though!!!!!
I went from production operator (ant) on the production line, to what is preparation for a new vehicle (pre production) as a team leader, working with designers, engineers, parts producers, and other team leaders, to evaluate the how, why and best method, layout of work stations, tools, specialist part containers.
If my physics teacher would have been around then!!!!!
And in my last job, a lot of detail to get the preparation for the next match.
I learnt that continuous improvement in my skill set and confidence in how, why and being as good as I could be, to satisfy those that relief on me.
We cannot be perfect, but being the best you can, should be enough....
You can only do, what you can, and no one should be critical.
Your art is wonderful
@gennepher.
I have nowt but praise!
