What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

7.7 this morning, coming down slowly. No surprise that it is a slow recovery of results following a spell wandering off the LC path, nature's way of a slap on the wrist.
Thank goodness my diabetic check-up and bloods are still over 6 months away. Hopefully these small set backs won't upset overall results but going by recent habits and will power I need to be a hermit over the Xmas period,.:D:D

7.4 this morning, slowly coming down. Looking to fit my trial Libre CGM once my readings get back to my pre-holiday readings and see how the CGM compares with finger pricking and hope I haven't been missing anything. If CGM proves useful will sell the house and kids and take out a second mortgage to self fund a CGM , time will tell.

I know the cost is high but the free trial one has given me far more insight to what is happening and have now ordered 2 more ( 99 quid ) .
