What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg 6.8

No wildlife videos today, the SD cards show no beasties have visited. Yet, I would question that because some digging and moving has been done by a hefty animal like a badger but nowhere near my cameras....

Just after 2 am, I woke up last night and I fancied a big mug of fresh tea....

Midnight came in the kitchen with me, and asked to go outside so I opened the door and went out with him, with my mug of tea.

The moon was out. I went back in to get my phone and my iPad mini to take some photos. When I came back, the moon was hiding behind some clouds. And so it was difficult taking photos of it.

So I tried taking photos with both devices and only the pixel could cope with the nighttime conditions.

I have blocked the top end of that passage, so hopefully a badger can't come through (will have to keep checking it), but the cats and the fox can get through anywhere. So, with a bit of luck, I can watch the night sky for a few minutes or half an hour from my gate without being surprised by a badgers nose.....

Came back to bed, but a stray cat followed me in. Midnight stayed outside for a bit patrolling his territory. Fed the stray cat, but it followed me into my bedroom. It sat beside my warm radiator, warming its sides, warming the top of its head, and warming its rear end. I have never seen a cat do that before. Then it sat beside the radiator for about half an hour, and then goes off into the night to go about whatever business it goes about. It made me feel sad watching him. I can't touch him. I can't pick him up. He will go for me, but at least he trust me that much, to sit besides my radiator while I am in bed. Maybe he wants to be near some a human for a little bit? He is no bother, and respects the inside of my property...

So, creative is the photo of the moon behind the clouds. I did a Double Exposure in Snapseed, had a little play, and then popped it in procreate to put a few stars back in... this is my offering for today...

Have your best kind of day,
I am just going to have a little nap now to catch up on a little bit of sleep. I missed in the night....

Take care

Beautiful creative.

5.1 at 04.00 today.

Fluttering in chest back again, but it sorted itself out by 08.00. Not going to worry about it. It is what it is and others have far more dangerous situations to cope with.

I have AF and I get fluttering feelings and palpitations it may be worth checking out.
My Apple Watch has an ecg app and has detected severa episodes of AF over the last month or so.

Lovely creative lots of texture in those clouds.

I hope you don't mind me saying, but you have mentioned before that you are not sure how much fluid you should be drinking. If that fluttering happens particularly in a morning after a night's sleep, maybe you need a bit more fluid, a glass of water in the night.
This is just a laywoman's thought, so take no notice of me @Annb

Thanks for the suggestion @gennepher. I'll give that a try.

Good morning everyone on what appears to be a balmy spring start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.6 this am and the promise of a double digit helping of temperature by noon. Conversations with my mum. Doctor called and a home visit yesterday. Bronchitis and asthma diagnosed - inhaler, antibiotics and some steroids prescribed - her lovely cleaning lady went to the pharmacy to collect. Less of a chest rattle this morning but she has lost her voice amongst the recent coughing. Took The Girl In The Bubble down to the prom again after school for a wiz along the flat. Made her a toasted muffin afterwards (a favorite of hers) before she went home. No idea about today but the sun has entered, stage right. Sunlight bouncing of the houses and trees and so advantages need to be taken. Art bit - now on two colours - how decadent. Hope you have a good day. I need some koffy.

This might show up when I have the monitor. The problem doesn't seem to be in the atrium but in the ventrical - which one I don't know. I gather that ventrical fibrillation can be dangerous, so that can't be what the doctor was talking about because he said he thought it wasn't dangerous at present.

I hope your mum gets better quickly @dunelm
Two colours for your art bit...that is decadent!!!

I do hope that the meds work quickly for your mum @dunelm

Morning all on a grey, calm Tuesday in Breckland. Each day is a gift but in all honesty some seem to have been mistakenly delivered by ???? I definitely didn't order this and can't fathom how to make full use thereof. @dunelm hug for your mum's illness but thanks be for the timely medical intervention. The cleaner appears to go above and beyond, wonderful. Thank you for sharing your art. Now grey and red equals decadent I must recalibrate almost everything. Gammon will obviously be ground zero, that's a given. @gennepher your nights sound really interesting if absolutely not for chaps like me. Sharing the account of your night, that will do me fine thanks. The creative should have been given a winner but when I was assembled the part which marvels at such scenes was left on the bench. Its not you its me. @Annb hug for the chest fluttering. Others have all kinds of issues but we all have our own. I struggle to see how comparing the gravity of conditions helps us or anyone else. @JohnEGreen hug for the AF but good that the wearable detects that. @Krystyna23040 we may not quite have jumped the shark yet but face timing a puppy must surely be right up there with the definitive symptoms. Bonnie may come from Cambs but that is some awesome canine skill. Limit her screen time and set parental controls. That's all from the Daily Drivel folks. Enjoy however much of Tuesday you can without resorting to making a mockery of reality.

Hug for your Mum and hope she recovers soon. The girl in the Bubble has good taste, preferring toasted muffins as a snack. I used to love toasted muffins, with lots of butter.

There was an old bakery/cafe in Canterbury which served toasted muffins, but only in the winter. In summer they served toasted teacakes, but they couldn't be had in the winter. Never really understood that. Really loved going to that cafe though. Good coffee too.

Morning all on a grey, calm Tuesday in Breckland which is currently incapable of lifting one's animal spirits. Each day is a gift but in all honesty some seem to have been mistakenly delivered by ???? I definitely didn't order this - wrong colour, wrong size, wrong season for starters - and can't fathom how to make full use thereof. @dunelm hug for your mum's illness but thanks be for the timely medical intervention. The cleaner appears to go above and beyond, wonderful. Thank you for sharing your art. If grey and red equals decadent now, I need to totally recalibrate almost everything. Gammon will obviously be ground zero, that's a given. @gennepher your nights sound really interesting though absolutely not for chaps like me. I'm pretty sure love your neighbour as yourself is correctly worded: as absolutely shouldn't have been more than. @JohnEGreen hug for the AF but good that the wearable detects that. @Krystyna23040 we may not quite have jumped the shark but face timing a puppy must surely be right up there with the definitive symptoms. That is so funny @ianpspurs.

Thank you @ianpspurs
There is no way on earth you would want to share your bedroom with a stray cat in the middle of the night. I definitely get that....
I have just remembered you do not like blues as a colour......
Sorry...
I happen to love blues as a colour....

I have a different idea for tomorrow...

Take care

I very much like Cambridge blue (who'd-a-thunk it, eh?) and sky blue is fine - dark blue is a whole other matter. Anyhow, you must continue to make your creatives for yourself not anyone else. The stray cat wouldn't be welcome but way before that I wouldn't dream of going out and looking at the sky: dark and cold aren't for me. A warm bed (in winter) and undisturbed sleep are very high on the list of God's blessings. The most likely reason for me to be up in the middle of the night is to watch sport, though I skipped the Superbowl last year. I may not be able to properly understand - easily relate to? - the pleasure others draw from some things but I appreciate learning of their little Epiphanies. Once again, its not you, its me.
