What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Fbg seven point five this morning.
It’s Keiran’s thirtieth birthday today makes me feel really old.
Better than stopping the aging clock at 'now' right ... ;)

Sit, give yourself a pat on the back for giving him your wise guidance
And his wisdom in using it so wisely.

And HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Keiran from us here

Good morning everyone on yet another sun shiney start to the day here in the dark and dangerous north. 5.4 this a.m. and already I have had a chat with my mother and consumed mugs of tea and koffy. A 5 mile walk yesterday and climbing up the cliff steps half way resulted in complaints from several body parts mainly about the need to find a rest stop for koffy and a shop that sells liniment. Art bit - dark sky. Enjoy your day, I am treating myself to more koffy.
A win for the chat & the walk ...bravo

Obv hug for the pain cha-cha-cha.

Does mean you're alive, or so they say .....mmhh.

Morning all from what would be a distinctly chilly day for blonds in the bleachers (just for Bonnie that one, she's from Cambs so must be able to read by now) here in The Brecks. Fbg is a known unknown and the point of knowing that anyhow would be exactly what? Hugs for the passage of time @JohnEGreen but happy birthday Kieran and hold on to Psalm 77 v 11 John. @dunelm hug for the inevitable? side effects of your admirable walking regime but winner for today's incomparable art. I obviously like today's piece very much, colour blindness or no. (I'm going brown-n-grey: I won't back down, no I won't back down) :playful: . @gennepher long may you enjoy the sourdough. The sheer joy of which probably balances out the carbs even assuming there is any truth in the alternative truth that carbs matter. We Crunchy Moms breathlessly await Elon's encyclical on the matter - or not. The lunatics have taken over the asylum and we haven't even had That Inauguration yet. @Krystyna23040 its good to stay in touch but remember Bonnie needs her screen time rationing. Meanwhile, since airfares rose more slowly than anticipated and hotel bills aren't as steep as thought the JAMS (whatever happened to them?) will all be eating fillet steak (organic, grass fed, obviously) every day. What Japes chums. Dem bins, dem bins, dem blue bins go out tonight, oh, be still my beating heart. Do your best with Wednesday folks.

I guess I'm a semi crunchy mom then. I don't avoid technology or modern medicine - I just can't get full use of either of them, but scratch-made food and old fashioned methods suit me.

7.5 this morning but down to the 5's now. Pulse is still irregular and minor chest discomfort. Feeling a bit shaky too, but the doctor said it's not dangerous. I'll see how I get on. I spoke to my brother and he told me he has had atrial fibrillation for most of his life, but it has caused no problems. And that's with 2 heart valve replacement operations. So I guess I'll be OK.

An annoying 7mmols again.

a bit of a quiet day, had a great sleep, dreamed of sunny skies and wishful thinking!

sunny day, and in garden. Yay!
What is this sun of which you talk? Send @alf_Josiah some of your mmols via that there interweb and all the dories are hunky - simples :playful:

Its just the normal noises in here :D Even the losers get lucky sometimes (top, top song) perhaps Refugee is more typical. How are all the joints and sinews now? I expect you had a walk today perhaps not full speed ahead but D**n the torpedoes I would wager.

Sun today...
It is going down now...out of sight behind the bungalows...
Sorting and tidying here...
Creative... I tried taking a kaleidoscope of lace curtains with the sun shining through, but the picture didn't work, it didn't look anything... so then I took a photo of a velvety orange blanket...
That worked so you have a velvety orange blanket Kaleidoscope for today.

I am trying to tidy my front room so I can do more artwork, but it is a mess at the moment....

I am on the day bed, I can feel the temperature dropping with the sun having gone out of sight... either I snuggle further under these blankets, I do have a black fairy blanket on me (spellcheck always calls Midnight a black fairy blanket, it doesn't matter how many times I say the word f u r r y, it won't write it)... or I get up and do some more tidying.... I think I'm going to snuggle further under the blankets... cat agrees... I will see how long my tummy lasts, I have not had lunch yet and it is 3:15 pm...

Enjoy the rest of your day
Take care
