6.9 today.
She reckons my difficulties getting a blood drop may be due to having deep capillaries - I have inherited elusive arm veins which challenge phlebotomists so she's probably right. There go my hopes of ever getting a reading in bed sigh.
Have you considered seeing the dentist for a gum shield to wear in the night? My daughter did this as she was getting migraines. So I saw my new GP yesterday who has prescribed Propranolol for me. I clench my teeth which I think is causing neck issues. I need to relax more. Doc warned me that one of the side effects is that they can lower blood sugar. i said thank you very much and I now wait in hopeful anticipation.
Bloods 7.1 this morning, little wonder I am clenching my teeth.
absolutely stunning!8.6 this morning. To be expected as food in Greece is for diabetics not so much as "bad choice" but "bad there isn't anything else." It's all pasta, pitta bread and potatoes, some meat OK and greek yoghurt for breakfast but even the yoghurt is pre-loaded with honey. Very naughty but rather nice. It's only for a week and I might even find an empty spot on the beach.
