Love a variety of veggies if I go a couple of days without I am craving them. Not a meat and two veg girl. More a meat and five veg girl. No longer bother with potatoes.
@Marie 2 when I was a child my parents had a large garden and grew everything. It became a long standing joke that if there was a caterpillar or other creature hiding in something, it would end up on my plate. Even after cooking.

It’s either that or the fact that I did have 2 lots of steroids during this time (5 days each time) - the joys of allergic reactions and not being able to take antihistamines :hilarious:
I'm pretty impressed that your hba1c went up only a little, with two lots of steroids thrown into the mix!
Especially with an improved TIR, showing you mostly managed the steroids well. :)
Possibly the increase of your hba1c is because you've spent more time in the higher end of the range due to the steroids?

@Tony337 Lol... At least you like salads!!!!!!
Fresh meals are always best and the healthiest!
I am always mixing it up with whats in my salad and I like lots of veggies in mine!!! I eat a huge salad for my major meal about 3 times a week. I top it with either tofu, tempeh, seitan, or an alternative meat on it. The only consistent thing is there is always lettuce, I like the mixed greens the best!!! We get some great fresh grown lettuces, bok choy and cucumbers here. There were lots of unknown things here that I have now tried a lot of, I still have to ask sometimes what something is, like the Brazilian Kale. Never Arugula though, it is up there with your avergence to many veggies. I like bitter and I like pepper, but I guess I don't like bitter and pepper in the same veggie.

Happy monday people

Take a 25 year old son with no interest or abilities in decorating.
Add the fact he got the keys for his first home on saturday.
Add his dad who is a competent DIY type ...

The result is now a 25 year old who can now sand and gloss.
He can now use a roller and understands how i can produce things out of my workshop like magic.

A tiring but productive weekend with only one v low sugar level yesterday afternoon despite a bacon butty an hour before.

@Tony337 Those are wonderful skills to pass on to a kid! He will be able to put it to good use his whole life, save him lots of money and know more when he is dealing with any construction person! It was good he was willing to learn!

Thanks
Unless you earn pots of money the younger generation have to learn because the only way to improve your home is to do it yourself!

Happy Tuesday

Happy Friday
Awoke on 5.1 (yay) but shot up to 9.1 v quickly for me so i thought compression low ?,which made me giggle a bit as i posted only yesterday i don't suffer them, dawn phenomenon doesn't normally kick in that quick but i didn't give it too much thought and added 1.5 units of novo rapid and got about my business.

Sat here now with a 2.9 and the arrow of death pointing right down, this too makes me giggle a bit, so its all gone west as they say but its south for us.

Anyhoo this is where lady luck kicks in as i have posted before i have never been hospitalised in fifty years and low levels before libre woke me up.
It can only be luck and i'm grateful for it.
I feel as rough as toast but safe in the knowledge i will be fine ......

My phone doesn't like talking to my work computer otherwise i'd send you a screen shot of my libre.

I wish everyone well

Tony
