What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.3 on Dexcom….not sure if I trust that but didn’t get time to do a blood test. Fall is definitely here, 4 degrees last night. Woke up at 1:30 to a bear in our yard. As large and fat as they are they are pretty agile…got over the fence with no problem. Don’t know why he was in the yard, we have nothing to attract him.
Got my A1C tested today, expecting it to be higher than last time because I had way more carbs than usual this past little while. Still no results from my pancreas MRI…it usually doesn’t take this long.

Winner for the result, hug for the waiting for the MRI. Not hugging the bear though, although it does bring back memories of torn up garbage when I lived in Alberta many moons ago.

6.0….blood prick. Disappointed for sure. Got my results back…and as anticipated my A1C went up, but still at prediabetic levels. 6.3 (sorry, don’t have the conversion). I did have the biopsy stress, excess of carbs and I didn’t get to donate blood….maybe that makes a difference.
Had a very lacklustre workout today…I had zero energy…but I did it! Cloudy day and windy but around 18 degrees so not awful.
