Iam on a low surgar and carb diet and losing weight, but don,t want to lose much more is there anyone who can advise what to eat and mantain my weight without eating the carbs and sugar?

Add a few nuts, say as a late afternoon snack, to your diet. Treat yourself to slightly larger portions of cheese. Put a little more olive oil on your salads. It doesn't take much to tip the balance from weight loss to no change to weight gain, so keep on weighing yourself, keep a record, adjust as necessary and well done so far.

Or just eat more of the types of foods you currently eat.

I eat quite a lot to stop my weight dropping any more and I was not overweight to start with I would actually like to put on a few pounds I don't count carbs and have only cut out the obvious starchy ones like bread rice pasta root vegetables and off course sugar so I eat plenty of everything else except meat I only eat chicken because I low fat. I do eat nuts and olives and quite a bit of cheese

Reevos, I'm going through this phase too, and finding it a bit of a challenge, mentally.

Personally, I wouldn't want to introduce another eating episode, with a snack, as I have never snacked, so I have, probably controversially, increased my carbs just a tiny bit. I am pleased to say, for me at least, that my bloods have not suffered, either in individual readings or my longer 7, 14 and 30 day averages. Of course I need to monitor that closely for a while. It's probably worthwhile saying I'm also pretty active at the moment, which will all help.

If you feel uncomfortable about increasing your carbs at all, then, personally, I would be going for protein. I didn't enjoy the high fat part when I tried LCHF.

Probably the key is trying one thing at a time and measuring the results. It's also worthwhile getting a handle on what your weight variations are on a day to day basis, so that you understand your body's natural variations.

As usual, one size does not fit all. :)

Your body needs a certain number of calories and this is dependent on your weight. Although much is trumpeted in the media about this being roughly 2000 per person for males, in fact if you weight 150Kg, it is more likely to be 3500.

As you lose weight through diet, your requirement becomes less. Simply because you are not doing as much work as before moving your body around. Eventually, you reach an equilibrium.

If you can achieve your weight target like this you are lucky. Most of us have to supplement eating less with a regime of increasing activity at some point.
