2014/15 Football Season

Good first half. Rovers 1-0 up. West Ham missing pen. Huddersfield getting beat. Leeds won. And united been beat!

Yes we are loosing at the mo but we are playing a team that came down from the Prem lol we might just come back and win like we did tuesday night.UTT

Pool lost 2-1 to B.Rovers, but played an attacking, exciting and positive game with loads of team spirit, so it is looking a lot better than it was.
 
Odds must be shortening on BFS being an early managerial casualty ... even after just the first game.

Who might be in the frame for a replacement? Curbishley (maybe out of the game too long)? 'Arry?
 
Missed the Man U match as I've been out all day, on all accounts a poor performance and a poor result to match :(
 
Back from West Ham - Tottenham.

Cresswell and Kouyate look promising.

A bloke ran the length of the pitch, dodging stewards, to take Tottenham's free kick for 'em - hilarious! :wacky:
 
Just seen this thread, can I register as an Arsenal supporter. I was born within walking distance of the ground so that makes me a real supporter:)

Well that was a good day for my teams. Leeds won 1-0, Arsenal 2-1...phew!

And the match I went to see - Forest Green beat Alfreton 2-0. Lee Hughes scored and got abusive chants from the 43 Alfreton fans re killing people, I suppose it's to be expected. Clovis Kamdjo's goal was well taken. Other than that the highlights were getting 2 complementary and 1 half price ticket, meaning we only had to pay £8.50 between the 3 of us...and that's probably all the match was worth! We were invited to the lounge at half time for a drink (they didn't have any vodka glasses!) . Total attendance was 956. I had forgotten how dreadful Conference football can be. Best performance was from 6 Alfreton fans who sang non-stop for 90 minutes. Still we're 2nd in the league now. That will do nicely.
