Ok, so this is the reason I'm here and why I went looking for a forum. I really need support and I know I'm only a newbie but I'd appreciate the help.
I've been a Type 1 diabetic for 12 years. The first 5 years were fine, I controlled it well and I was great throughout my pregnancy 7/8 years ago.
Since then though, my control has just gone and now I'd say it was very badly controlled.
I have no motivation to sort it out, despite being seen by the psychologist at the hospital and the staff at the diabetes clinic.
I am well aware of the complications I may face but because there is no immediate impact, I seem to keep thinking 'ah, I'll get round to sorting it out one day'.
I really need help/support, am secretly terrified but still can't seem to sort it out.
:-(
