2014/15 Football Season

Went to Colchester - Fleetwood this afternoon. A much needed 2-1 home win. Both goals from Massey were well executed. Almost a fantastic third when the Fleetwood goal keeper cleared a ball up field only to be caught off his line and have to rush back to make a terrific save. Good to see George Moncur and Freddie Sears.

Hmmm my predictions were way off, no boat this week then....
We are just not clinical enough! We have 30 odd pros and not one of them could score a goal for us!
In football you have to score goals to win! Simples!
Bottom now!
Ho hum!
We actually played quite well today! Think the manager is going!

Defo not happy!

I feel your pain mate, it's still early in the season though, there's enough time to turn things round

Well my older son is in Tallinn ready for the England match. I hope he enjoyed Finland v Greece.:)

Well, if the England side can't beat Estonia they need shooting. One of the Estonia players (Zenjov) is a Blackpool player, and struggling to get games for us at that!

Another abject performance from England, thankfully I missed the first half, started watching from the 55th minute and gave up in the 83rd minute. Apart from the Rooney free kick I didn't see the Estonian keeper have to make one save. Simply not good enough.

I fell asleep in front of the TV sometime in the first half (no wonder) and woke up just in time to see Rooney's free kick.

As good a time as any for a power nap and it sets you up nicely for the rest of the evening, by comparison Strictly Come Dancing is a thrillfest....

After a busy day and my grandsons team won well this afternoon. I got myself comfortable and fell asleep 1st half and woke up just before darts final!
I take it I didn't miss much. Spain didn't score till after half time! So it's not just us. International football is tighter, more defensive and controlled to keep possession. So it's more boring!

Aaaaaaaagggggghhhhhhhhh!
I'd rather watch paint dry!

I don't usually disagree with you mate, but well, I don't agree with you lol. It was Estonia not Brazil, and they were down to 10 men for most of the second half, England were very very poor.

I didn't know that! 10 men we must have been poor, (nearly swore then!)
I don't mind be corrected! If one assumes! You know the saying!
