Well obviously I was doing bloke stuff, you know, watching fighting and stuff on the internet. That kind of thing. Really pleased Frankie didn't get voted off Strictly!!!! Ummm, oops, I mean, that's what the wife said, not me of course....
 
Strictly has the benefit of not being the X Factor and I'd rather watch Colchester - Fleetwood or West Ham - Liverpool than an England game anyday! ;)
 
Talking of ****! Rovers have just sacked manager Rob Edwards. Not surprising but inevitable. Nice guys don't run pro clubs!
Shame! Odds on next manager?
 
Dave Jones is a good manager, any chance you could take Big Fat Sam? I'll put a fiver towards his wages, and like a man who can't pronounce his f's and th's, I can't say fairer than that
 
Unfortunately rovers and BFS have history which is not very good.rovers legend Aldo had a spat with him when they were rivals. Bolton belittled us in their programme notes, 'how can a little league club compete with the big clubs like us! Phil Neale, also slagged us off in a newspaper article.
Rovers response - we beat them home and away, semi finals league cup! Stopped them getting 100 points in their promotion year. The most popular t-shirt sold in the club shop was We 8 Bolton!
Hoot really childish, when they didn't use our changing rooms in a league game. Used a local hotel!

So I don't think BFS is in line!

Apparently, Dave Jones is going to be our Director of football!
We couldn't even afford a football in the summer!
 
Wales scraped through and remain top. Good win for them as some of their rivals slipped up!

Ok, BFS is out then, funny he seems to spread peace and love everywhere he goes......
 
Mr nice guy!

His methods to detail about opposition and his own players is second to none!
He has a camera on each player, they are tagged when playing and religious about what they eat and drink. He has a very large tech team.
His dossiers on players is legend and he had a very good recruitment team before all the new youth system was introduced before the FA!
Maybe his influence may give the Hammers a decent youth system that they are well known for.
That could be the untold legacy, the same when he left the trotters!

Still hate him though!
 
We've always had a good youth policy, BFS won't play any of them though, even last season when all of our senior team strikers were out injured or suspended, he chose to play a 4-6-0 formation rather than play reserve strikers, Elliot Lee was banging in goals for fun in the Dev Squad
 
Are you sure it wasn't 5-5-0!
Bayern Munich are currently playing a very risky 3-3-4! Rovers on Saturday threw on the kitchen sink formation and we still couldn't score!
 
It was definitely 4-6-0, worked for one game, spurs, they didn't know what was going on lol

Now I like the sound of 3-3-4, I'm sure arsenal used to play a formation like that in the days of Henry, Bergkamp etc? (@zand ) maybe it was 4-2-4?

I'm sure Rovers will turn things round mate, plenty of time yet, at least things can't get worse right? Get the right manager in and you'll be pushing for promotion by the new year

Ha! We have the worstest(real word?) record for any team for the last 2 years!
If 2014 was the season we would have been down by the end of March!
I have faith in our new owners, but can we afford to break all our budget to bring in more quality to get us up the league?
I'd be happy just to survive this season!

We had a legend of a managerJohnny king, who hanged his formation every game!
 
Survival will surely be the target, but never underestimate the power a new manager brings, all of a sudden the squad all become world class!

It's on all tranmere forums that he has been given a contract til the end of the season! 1/4 fav in all the bookies.
I hope it is!
Happy going to bed now, I could get a decent sleep now!
