Hi,
I've recently clamped down hard on my diet, and I'm feeling the benefits.
But it has made me review a few things that (for years) I thought were 'normal' but turn out to have disappeared as soon as I've brought my BG down to non-pre-diabetic levels.
I thought they were age related, and weight related, and just a sign of... being me... middle aged and plump.
Turns out I was wrong!
They included
sleeping lightly, restless, bad temperature control in bed
waking up feeling like the walking dead, lurching zombie-like down the landing to the bathroom, knees aching, feet aching, bleary eyed
pain in joints, particularly knees
deteriorating memory and concentration
What things have you come to accept as normal that shouldn't be?
