B - FF Greek yogurt with strawberries and flaxseed
L - Tinned salmon, cheese, cherry toms, mayo, slice of Hovis and butter
D - will be roast chicken, cauli, garden peas, carrots, 2 roast spuds (duck fat), some Bisto gravy, glass of red.

Snacks - 4 mugs of tea with dash of skimmed milk.

Have had a day off from mushrooms, and already have withdrawal symptoms. ;)

I can't go long without mushrooms! Think breakfast will be mushroom omelette tomorrow.

I could eat mushrooms every day. I made swiss mushrooms today to go with lunch. Just garlic and mushrooms fried in butter and put into a ceramic bowl topped by mozzarella and tallegio cheese grilled until bubbling. Oh the joy of this lchf

Mr B has a totally irrational fungus phobia.
Unlike my totally reasonable arachnophobia
He has trauma at mushrooms getting fridge space.
It's one of his very few failings.

Well, you probably don't have to live with,

"Broccoli? What is the point of broccoli?"

I won't even go there to disclose his berating of those little green gems; the brussels sprout.

mince, cauli, brocolli, cabbage tea
corned beef salad lunch
plain yoghurt, berries

Oh, I am soooo with your Mr B on the Brussels sprout aka 'the devil's vegetable'

My Mr B gets his own, prepares, cooks and eats them on Xmas day, if we do the Turkey Ordeal. :yuck:

My Mr B has one solitary sprout on the Bah Humbug day. He loves other veg, just those two he's less keen on.

Today's questionable food choice was tea with cream in it.

Oh yeah.

I am so sick of not having tea (because the milk is not within my carb quota) that I broke down and tried it with cream.
:eek::eek: (I totally understand if a voice in your head is screaming in horror)
And you know what - it wasn't as bad as I expected.
And it was certainly better than sweetened tea - which is disgusting!:yuck:

So it looks like the occasional cuppa is back on the menu. :smug:

I like tea with cream! I thought that's what cream tea meant!

So far, today, I have had cheesy eggs cooked in my eggmaster which I got for my birthday (which also happens to be today!:D). Had a weekend of prebirthday celebrations including curry night but without bread or rice, lovely cooked breakfast, a nice piece of steak with trimmings and butternut squash chips, a carvery, a homemade low carb cheesecake and a few chocolates. Accompanied by pink champagne and some lovely red wine. Obviously this was all spread out over 3 days! Having a thai curry from takeaway tonight-night in and a film!

Breakfast. My very own home made yoghurt ( see yoghurt thread). With raspberries about 5
Lunch chicken and leek soup
Dinner will be more soup as I'm nursing a cold and the soup is all I fancy right now

Happy birthday.
B: Sardines on Livlife toast with butter, avocado, tomato. Surprisingly tasty.
L: Cold chicken & feta cheese & salad, home-made coleslaw (no carrot), home-made dressing, bit of mayo.
T will be Black Farmer sausages (thanks for the tip), egg probably poached, tomatoes mushrooms & black pudding fried in butter & garlic
Thanks also for the tip that cheaper berries can be found in the supermarket freezer -- picked up boxes of blueberries & mixed berries in Tesco just now :) On my magic porridge (groats) tomorrow with cream.
