13%
Hey
@badbrogs21 , so you're 13% (119) now... with a little bit of soul searching (or, if you're like me, a LOT of soul searching), reading around this fantastic website and forum for ideas, experiences, etc., and a good honest talk with your 'Healthcare team' and 'loved ones', you'll knock that back by 2% this year...
(Type 1) Diabetes is a life-long journey down long and winding road full of bear pits, dead ends and lots of 'Gingerbread' houses along the way: the trick is to stay focused on the task you've set yourself and get friends, family and colleagues on board - you'll be amazed at just how supportive these people can be if you explain what's the issue, etc.
And as for those who hold you back or try to lead you off the 'straight and narrow'? Stay focused and leave them to fall by the wayside like broken branches and empty fast-food containers... sooner or later they'll come on board or save you the hassle.
Good luck and best wishes.
C.
