You can register with their website and they will alert you when they become available again, I did this after Robert72 pointed it out earlier in the thread.
So what's in the starter pack that you can't get just by buying the reader and a sensor?

The starter pack gave you two sensors and the reader with a level of discount. If you only want to buy one sensor, then there is nothing stopping you simply buying a reader and sensor. So what's in the starter pack that you can't get just by buying the reader and a sensor?
That's the problem I had with Libre. When they work they're brilliant, when they're out consistently they're still useful, but when they're completely random they're bloody useless - not even good for trend data.My sensor no. 7 is being erratic - three duds out of seven is not good. I'm doing more fingersticks than I ever did without the Libre because I don't trust it. Starting to wonder if it's worth the expense.
Lucy. Abbott suggested today I emailed if I was on holiday out of UK. They don't need to know where you are 'on holiday'Yes, I have and asked them to call. Finally realised that was the way. Harder running a Libre outside the UK tho. But I can't wait for the Danes - they'll probably object to the Libre on ethical grounds. - They're like that.
Bolus learning would really be helped by Libre. My BG measurements are accurate, but there just aren't enough of them ,.. and they leave out the spikes. They're too upbeat.
All part of the exhausting D up-and-down rollercoaster. Wipes me out.
Thanks Smidge.
Alas, it probably doesn't mean that, Andy. We've had problems with sensors right the way thro. My current one - no 8 - is a dream, so accurate and consistent that I'm only testing once a day. Of those eight, three have been reliable. One refused to activate and of the other four, three sort of settled down after 3 consecutive days of reading low (to being consistent in their low-reading, anyway) and one was randomly inconsistent right through. Most users have had both types of experience, so it doesn't seem to be anything to do with our individual physiology.I hope that means they have worked out the bugs and you haven't just dropped luck with that sensor.

Just to warn you. You've got I'd say a 40% chance of getting a good one.
But, as documented above, it often isn't.I think as long as the BG to IG offset is ok in terms of +- is consistent along with the time offset then it certainly makes it very useful
