A House of Commons Report out recently. NHS Wales is in a worse mess than NHS England. Seems undeniable.

I have no idea how true it is but not the experience of most people I know here.
The ambulances will never be abvle to match England simply because of the nature of roads mountains valleys etc here.
The nearest copper to me on a 999 call to my house might be thirty miles away .... thirty miles of dark winding roads away.
If you live in Barmouth and your baby starts arriving or you're having a heart attack then you have to be taken to Bangor hospital sixty miles away.
Sixty miles of very narrow winding roadsso comparing it with England as a whole might not be realistic.
Average figures in England will naturally include massive cities and towns with motorway links and other modern roads and with services two three five miles away.... we don't have that here.
The averages here will be taken from small towns and very small villages and a population that live in neither but very remotely.
We have a lot of village hospitals.
If my doc wants me to go for a blood test I take the envelope to my nearest village hospital without appointment there and then so long as it's before eleven am.
Same with X-rays.
I doubt there many places in England that can be done.
My personal view is that government of any colour should fund the NHS but butt out on decision making.
I feel the same about education too.
Pay up then butt out.
