Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Dogs would be quite happy with it like that and my eldest daughter had a dicky bib as a baby - the plastic ones with a trough at the bottom - once she'd eaten main and pudding out of her dish she started on the bib......
 
5.4 @ 5am up again thanks chest. Will count this as overnight. Got an appointment to see asthma nurse@ guys on Thursday. Maybe see can help. Waking up in the small hours is driving me mad:-|

4.8 this morning, by the time I get round to brekky it will be in the 6s, my morning hello from my liver.
 
5.2 pre breakfast , off to Dr 1st thing to see if he can get my bloods, fingers crossed.

4.8 before dinner
5.1 after 55g of carbs and not exactly after two hours it was less than that but definitely more than 1 hour. I know the carbs so precisely coz the roll I had had 50g + I added some chicken and veggies to make a fajita with loads of salad washed down with diet coke which I forgot in the freezer so only could have less than half of it. It was diet not full fat so not bad

Good morning all,
7.3 @ 10 to 8 sat on bed
8.3 @ 8.15 about to eat breakfast.
If this another liver dump, my question is, when I have my next blood test in April, will these spikes make a difference to the results of the blood test.
Have bought a meter, trying hard to change my life around.
Nurse said no to a meter, typ 2 etc

Doubt it ..... they're spikes and April's a long way off .... get those general figs under control in the next few weeks and you'll be fine.

Don't confuse with what you believe (and could well be) liver dumps with your overall numbers
 
Had a few more hours sleep just tested 6.3 so not too bad.Going to see a friend and her children later :-):-)
 
6.3 for me this morning... my own fault as usual - too many nuts before bed. That said they are gone now and I'm not buying any more cause they keep calling me once there opened..
