I just mix one egg, 2 tablespoons of ground flaxseeds, 1 tablespoon of melted butter, a pinch of salt and 1/4 a tea spoon of baking powder. Put in an appropiate shape mold and into the microwave for 1.30min... and voila... sandwich bread! (... sort of...) lol

I love sandwiches so it makes my life easier.

mehhh2015, I think I got everything I need to make this today. :)

I found a round, microwave safe, 5" dish with 1" sides. Will that work? Do I need to butter and flour the dish first? Curious as to what you use.

B... 1 bacon strip, butter, fried egg, 1/2 cup cauliflower, sauted
L... tuna, pickle, mayonnaise topped with 1 ounce extra sharp cheddar; 0.35 oz 70% cocoa chocolate
S... steamed squash and zucchini, grated parmesean
D... chef salad from grocery; 0.35 oz 70% cocoa chocolate

Have everything needed to make the pizza recipe posted from the Fat Head website yesterday. Just need an oven that works now. Forgot about that... Details... Oh well, guess we'll enjoy it together when husband returns from trip and replaces the igniter. ;)

Yesterday was

B: divine breakfast omelette at pub - I couldn't finish it.
I. Couldn't. Finish. It.
Unheard of! Nice coffee too.
L: completely unnecessary
S: zip
D: mince, sugarsnaps, caulicheese, sliver of lemon stracciatella

Have had a few days of going a touch off-plan - Thursday was a piece of cheesecake and a rum ball, Friday was some wedges at lunchtime (they don't spike me but they do stall my weight loss) and yesterday (sat) was a write off as I went to the cricket and couldn't find any low carb food so ate a beef pie, a cheese and spinach pasty and some fries (which seems a lot of food but I was there for 8 hours). And then I realised I was sitting in front of a bar where I could have got some lamb koftas and some calamari! Will remember that for next time, and/or get my act together and take some food. Anyway, today:

B/L: 2 sausages, some bacon, 2 eggs scrambled with cheese, coffee with cream.
D: mince cooked with a bit of carrot, aubergine and courgette, with sautéed cabbage and a bit of feta on top.
Snack: small handful cashews and almonds.

Tell me more about the breakfast omelette please...

Well, if you insist... ;)

It must have been made in a small (8 or 9 inch frying pan) cos it covered a small dinner plate.
They had made an omelette (3 or 4 eggs, at a guess)
Covered it with chopped bacon, black pudding, award winning sausages, mushrooms and grated cheese
Then flash grilled it.
It looked just like a pizza

I only managed 2/3 of it.

Have you got a candle lighter you could use?

OMG. I need this omelette in my life. (Although I'd swap the black pudding for something else, poss leeks).

White bread and donuts !!!
No, but that's what husband asked me to buy at Asda this morning. I said, no! He said the donuts are only 50p.
This is not helping me, I need to stay strong.
I can do this. 31st Jan I was. 78.3 kg. Today 76.7 kg. Not a big drop but it's going in the right direction.

Don't worry, we all go off track now and again......today is another day and a good start so far... :):)

:)Me too so think I will give it a try too. It was only when someone mentioned the nutri bullet thing having a grinder attachement that I remembered my food processor has a mini grinder for nuts and coffee beans and stuff so that should do for the flax seeds and @Susikav did similar with ground almonds and walnuts.....must copy them to my notepad before they get lost way back along the thread

QUESTION Flax seeds/ Linseeds - same thing ??? :confused::confused:

Breakfast two boiled eggs( why do I feel guilty about having two eggs boiled but don't if I scramble them?) slice buttered spelt toast
lunch tuna crunch salad with homemade coleslaw, few crisps from Mr E's bag. 2 sq chocolate and a big lick of Mr E's cornet.( it wasn't as nice as I remembered.)
dinner bacon. 2 meaty sausages, buttery mushrooms and two tinned toms.
Yes, why DO you feel guilty about eating 2 eggs...... I have 3 in my omelettes or frittata.....

Yes they are.
Thank you - was 90% certain.....but best to check. Have got both Golden and Brown ones but more of the golden so will try those first....

Just made a sort of flapjack with the leftover porridge mix I'd made. Used caramel Skinny Syrup instead of normal syrop. Was only after I'd mixed in the butter I thought to add xanthan gum to help it hold together but too late at that stage to get it evenly mixed in. If it doesn't "set" then I shall just have to eat crumbs :hungry::hungry:. Marked it into pieces but very very crumbly

This will be a first for me.
I am going to cook roast celeriac, roast swede, roast onion all with a sprinkle of rosemary.
Plus a quorn type veggie burger, and i think i have green beans in freezer.
Yes have already opened the red wine.

On the upside i have not touched the donuts that husband asked me to buy this morning.
On the down side, have eaten too many peanuts while watching rugby.
Not having a good day today, personal problems, depression knockng on the door. Ha Ho
