5.7 coming back down. another really late one called out at 5pm back home at 4:30 seems my body is adjusting to the late shifts? Will see next week when I'm back on my normal hours

Fasting level high again at 7.9, but another very late morning test.

(But went to bed at 5.9....:wideyed:)

Robbity

3.8 this morning but feeling good. 5.6 miles yesterday so that has helped in keeping the levels low.

5.8 fasting after a bedtime of 5.2
Busy morning on a day off, have randomly decided to test out a savoury cheese scone for a late lunch.....want to see what effect it has and how I tolerate it! Stand - by! !

Day59 ND (Fri) 4.4 at 6.15am. Ketones 1.9
Hill walk/run 9km. Then 15 for Brunch. Afternoon cutting back berry bushes.
Ravening hordes of children for afternoon tea - only seven, but seemed like more!
Just sat down for a minute with a cup of cinnamon tea, before bed.

As promised, a very late test and indeed a 10 hour fast beforehand - 5.8.

But whether it's representative or not is open to debate as I not only snacked through the night before watching the election coverage (so very little sleep) but my snacks, sadly, weren't low carb :( And to make matters worse the test result above was half an hour after returning from an hour and a quarter of walking. Back to normal tomorrow!

Well, not too bad, I was 6.3 before the cheese scone (had just walked home) 1hr after 7.1, 2 hrs 8......and almost 3hrs now at at 6.7

Cheese Scone - Thats a little naughty kimbo isnt it :) but sounds divine
It was a very random "naughty", haven't had much of an appetite yesterday and today and I just thought I would have a "try it" test, thinking it would be good to see what I can tolerate now.....I chose cheese over fruit for obvious reasons. I'm guessing I handled it better than I would if I hadn't maintained my hba1c at 39?

5.3 mmol / L this morning.
4.3 mmol / L at bed time.

Bed time was 20 minutes the good side of midnight and good quality sleep. Fasted (nothing but drinks of water) prior to bed time reading for over 26 hours - was surprisingly easy to do! :D Had bed time food (Protein and fat macro combination) immediately after testing.

I think we all deserve a treat once in a while. You only live once but I have been very well behaved boy and can't wait to test once off nd atleast for a few days, I think I can do that but then back to lchf.
