What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

This was my first day of testing, started metformin yesterday started at 9.7, had breakfast then 2hrs later 7.4. After lunch was 8.1, then b4 twas 7.4, then 2 hrs later 8.1 again how am I doing?

Its great you are testing before and 2 hours after meals. Make sure to keep a food diary as well so you can gauge the effect different foods have on your BS. :)

Ye have done, wonder why first one of the day was highest is it because I didn't eat b4 bed?
 
Make sure to test as soon as you wake up, before you do anything else. Sometimes your body will dump glucose into your system, its called the dawn phenomenem . It took me over a year to get my FBG under 8 so dont let it worry you, it does take time for your body to adjust.

8.3 today was kinda high yesterday so will have to watch what i eat today grr :grumpy:
 
Oh i test after getting washed and dressed ...maybe need to test as soon as wake up
