Hi. I take Novarapid. If I have no carbs at all for a meal do I not inject? Trying to reduce carbs and eat more protein because the weight is piling on round the stomach! Is there not an insulin you can have that does not put weight on? I'm struggling to get blood sugars at correct level.

Both were injected separately, different part of stomach. Probably not used too taking both one after another. Thanks for all the advice.

That's the first I've taken them at same time. Won't be doing that again! Taking the Levemir on its own never bothers me.

I just had 4 units novarapid and 6 levemir I feel sick, shaking, and sweating. Is it the insulin? Blood sugars ok.
