I have had bullet proof coffee with 30 gms butter minus VCO....I really enjoy this every morning. because it energizes me and it over rides any need for breakfast. Daily I have it 2 times, but I am curious if I can go for 2 more rounds or not...will ask expert's advice...
Dinner is going to be scallops cooked in thyme garlic and balsamic, watercress and either brown rice or some sort of potato. Am sworn off alcohol until my blood sugars are at a normal level so am having sparkling water, sugar free elderflower cordial with a dash of orange blossom water.
Don’t think I take this much trouble usually but it is Easter and we all deserve a treat
Bloods at 5.0 this morning. Highly delighted as we had a family meal at the local indian restaurant last night and I succumbed to PILAU RICE! With Lahore chilli chicken and some peshwami bread! I enjoyed every mouthful i must say but after 2 hours my BS had gone up from 4.5 to 8.1 and only down to 8.0 after 3 hours. Didn't test after that!!!
For breakfast yesterday i had 2 rashers of bacon 1 fried egg and a couple of tinned tomatoes. Usually only have the eggs and bacon and my BS remains about 5 after 2 hours but the tinned tomatoes put it up to 6.9 so not a brilliant day. That said this is the first Easter I've not eaten my bodyweight in chocolate!!!
