What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.5 today.
Still cold here but….looks like Monday we’ll see some spring like weather. I don’t mind the cold as long as we don’t get a huge dump of snow…
Gym was a 40 min walk, incline and then a heavy chest and back workout. Lunch was, once again, eggs and bacon with a cheese quesadilla on a high fibre, low carb gluten free wrap.
Clean out the fridge and freezer day…yippee…

Slowly getting back on the wagon by posting here 11.8.

On one hand getting used to going without things I love like chocolate and on the other hand taking it day by day. I really admire everyone who is able to keep their blood sugar low as it feels like a massive work in progress for me.

2.9 cgm
4.3 fingerprick

V surprised at how not high it was - last night i was at 4.6 so I had what I thought would be a a bg-spiking biscuit and a cuppa and half an hour later was at 3.7 (really don't get what happened here, but its happened a couple of times now) so panicked, downed half a mini coke and went to bed on a 9.something reading

I seem to be v unlucky with malfunctioning tech (every other sensor pretty much, both dexcom and libre) and keep having panic attacks at the false lows :banghead: also burning through test strips like nobody's business... sometimes it feels like my cgms should come with a "for entertainment only" label

New dexcom activated this morning and it's reading a unit higher than fingerpricks. I'm finding keeping on top of it all almost impossible
