Was it a coincidence that I started Tresiba yesterday morning and felt like death all day? Eyes light sensitive, continuous stonking headache, nausea, lack of appetite, fell asleep in the chair while a friend was visiting, gave up and went to bed at 7.30
Has anyone else experienced this with Tresiba? I've read, reread the leaflet and the only warning they give is hypos.

Also the leaflet said NO Alcohol................. this can't be right can it?

The sun's out and the forecast is good for tackling weeds. Have a lovely Saturday

I’m on Tresiba @SueJB and have had no issues like you are describing plus I regularly have a glass of red wine. Have to say I haven’t seen that advice must dig out the info sheet and read.

Drama with my sensors last night. I have to say I very rarely have a problem, but yesterday the one due up for renewal in three days just kept losing signal even when right next to me. After it didn’t warn me about an impending low I decided its days were numbered and proceeded to apply a new one. Pressed the applicator down on my arm and the whole thing got stuck. It was just hanging there. Very painful too. After much wrangling it suddenly activated and came off. Ouch! Luckily it appears very accurate. Never had an application problem before.

Hi @becca59, I just think it was weird. I feel drained this morning despite having slept like a brick, not like me at all
AND I'm definitely no tgiving up my wine, it also said.....don't drive or operate machinery!!!

@SueJB You can be allergic to a particular insulin or the ingredients used with it. I know a couple of people allergic to Humalog. And one allergic to Humalog and Novalog. I know it used to be more common with the older insulins than now. I think the only way you would know is if you stopped it and symptoms went away and then started it and they came back. Or it could be something else !
