Last couple of days:

B: coffee n cream
S: 70% choc
L: pork scratchings, Brie or humus and scratchings
D: chicken thighs, chorizo, onion, tomato sauce, sugarsnaps

Then, yesterday I had some chocolates (50g carbs?), and today, a mince pie!(maybe 35g carbs?)

Felt cr*ppy yesterday evening. Same again today.

Worried I may be teetering on the edge of the rails!
Don't know if it is Xmas, work stress, boredom, availability of Mr B's Xmas stash, the cold weather, hormones... Who knows?

But I really do feel that I'm wobbling. :nailbiting:

I'll hold your hand............:)

Tbh it's only the cheese and crisps off there I could go mad on- never been fond of Xmas cakes, mince pies, cheesy balls etc so I'm safe from temptation there. Must admit I had 5 crisps with my lunch- rest of bag still sitting there- I had 3 dark chocolate brazils instead. Selenium and copper in a delicious mouthful.
There's a guy at work who eats about 6 packets of crisps a day. He's just moved to the desk behind me.
Skinny, young, plays football with a vengeance.
Pah!

The crunching starts around 9.30 am, and continues all day. Plus bag rustling.

Come to think of it... That may be part of the problem...

Move desks. Or murder him and bury the body under his mountain of crisp packets.

Oh I LOVE black farmer sausages. My husband always used to insist that no pork sausage would ever be as good as a beef sausage (he is wrong on a number of counts with that) until he tried BLack Farmer and now that's all we buy.

I nearly had a big wobble last night - am surrounded by biscuits, mince pies, cake, and have been having a tough time looking after a 2 year old and a 6 month old in my in laws house in an unfamiliar country while my husband is away working. But managed to pull myself back from the brink - I've made such progress, lost 13lb since the beginning of October, it would be a shame to derail it.

@Weird Science Was hoping to update you on the milk thistle, but to be honest, I am not sure if it's working. My blood is a bit erratic this week due to cold weather plus having a scabby finger :depressed: I can say though that I am not experiencing any adverse effects so will stick with it. This morning my fbs was 6.5. I had been unexpectedly low going to bed at 4.9 (well that's low for me!)

My food yesterday was supposed to be the same as today, but I have just tanned a bag of peanuts. Yesterday was...

Breakfast: omelette made with butter. Delicious, thanks for the suggestion here.

Lunch: cheddar, almonds. Decaf made with cream and coconut oil.

Dinner: Tesco soya balls in tomato, pepper and mushroom sauce. Broccoli in cheese sauce.

Pudding: pineapple jelly with banana flavoured cream (I was led me astray on another thread)

Not completely sure, but I think peanuts are a no-no; almonds, Brazil nuts etc are OK they contain lots of good fats but I think should be eaten in moderation. Anyone else got info?
