    Flu jab 2010/2011

Re: Flu jab 2010. I'll have the jab every time I'm offered it! I was diagnosed with Type 2 when I was already in hospital with Pneumonia, as well as a serious urinary infection. Sadly it's all too easy for diabetics to get a little run down and be wide open to infection.

Links opening in a new window

Just a thought.. I know how to work the browser but it's too easy to nip off and be on someone else's site in seconds. It's a revenue loss if people jump to other systems in this big WEB2 world.

Links opening in a new window

This may well have been asked before but is there a way of changing the default for clickable links so that they open in a new window? This is the only site I use where you click through and, without any warning, leave the site. Pretty much everywhere else opens links in a new window by...

    Diabetic as tourist

Once in the UK you might do well to visit a pharmacy in the UK and ask there. If they can't help directly then they should be able to put you in touch with someone who can pretty quickly. Prior to travel, I'd say speak to your own doctor and your embassy staff.

    News - No Statin-Cancer Link

Thankfully not me cugila! A colleague (who doesn't mention his condition at work so I'll say no more about that) suffered from awful weakness after being put on them. Not sure which one but it made me rather wary of them. My doctor is still trying to coax me into taking Statins but every time he...

    DVLA - Medical Standards. HGV.

Much as I haven't driven an HGV in quite a few years I still renewed my licence last year. You just never know! It'd be a shame to think I'd wasted the £120 quid I payed for the medical though.

annoyed and upset (not diabetic related)

Re: anoyed and upset (not diabetic related) These things are becoming less and less popular as they do damage all over the UK. http://www.essex-fire.gov.uk/pages/inde ... a=4&id=477 (Apparently they are quite popular in Essex)

Have you ever heard of a package called M.A.M.E. Nigel? The Multiple Arcade Machine Emulator. See if you can find a decent copy online and you can be back there again in no time! And this time there's no coin required. ;)
