Type 2 Fatty Liver disease and LCHF/Keto

    Levelshealth

I was wondering if anybody had heard of this company for glucose monitoring ( and much more on metabolic health) with sensors and their app? I found it listening to a podcast on Dr Hyman's site ;the person interviewed is Dr Benjamin Bikman a metabolic research scientist. In that podcast, he talks...

    Data-Driven Fasting?

Hi, can I ask something without sounding clueless; how do we know if it's" real" hunger or just some nutrient deficiency? I have a "sweet tooth" always craving something sweet. The other day, I drank something ( healthy-organic tomato juice)after my usual meal and had no sugar craving at all...

    Sweetners in medication

Thanks, for your info . I didn't know glucosamine had an adverse reaction for insulin resistance. @Struma All the same if it's not one thing ,it's another( can't take this medication because it interacts with another or it's not suitable for diabetes).

    Sweetners in medication

Thanks, that's good to know. Now I'll look up condroitin sulfate to see if that's okay to take. Now just have to find something which would be the same but not adverse to diabetics.

    Sweetners in medication

I was prescribed Carticure which is a spanish product for joints and cartilage. However, I was advised by GP not to take it because it has sorbitol (somehow our discussion didn't say which other similar medication to take). I'm looking for another similar medication but a sweetner (or without)...

    Rope jumping

I skipped everyday for 10 mins for 6 months and lost 3 inches around my hips and my stomach shrank-no calorie deficit so I didn't lose any weight. I was overweight so I took it very easily.Don't overdo out of enthusiasm as you will get shin splints and not want to continue. I did 1 minute skips...

The daily mail is at it again.

What I meant by fasting is just a night sleep of 8 hrs (I had a snack before sleeping) as I wasn't yet on a specific diet so I don't know if it was ketosis (which means I would've have to have been on lower carbs for a while, yes?) Also to be fair, I wasn't paying much attention to my food at...
