First time been for a walk since home from hospital after my Covid pneumonia stay and got diagnosed type 2 my reading when I got home was 5.5 after lunch and water my reading was 5.3 (2hrs wait) is the reading ok ?

12 hrs old been released from hospital after corvic and diagnosed corvic diabetic after 15 days in patient and I came home with the diagnosis of diabetes type 2 with and got to take 500mg Metformin tablets twice a day can u give me any tips or apps I can use to help on my very scarer journey xx
